The guy who wrestled the gunman weapon is identified as Ahmed al-Ahmed of Sutherland, he sustained 2 gun shot wound in the leg after being shot at by 2nd shooter, as per Channel 9 News

Okay, summing up the event as of now

The shooting started at 6:47pm (1847)AEST, 2 gunmen, not known/little interaction with the police opened fire at Chanukkah by the Sea event at Bondi Beach near the Pavilion.

Police did not confirm that one of the gunmen is Naveed Akram, but known Police Activities are at Bonnyrigg, where the suspected gunman resides.

13 killed, 26 injured, 1 gunman shot dead, 1 gunman in critical condition.

Police had declared this a Terrorist Incident as of 9:36 pm (2136) AEST
