Cannot wait to see it, but again - I know I'm the one who constantly ruins the parties - seeing is believing.

So let's wait if not again as in the Tejas mk.2 program it will be delayed.

Tejas Mk2 was not delayed.

If Govt refuse to disperse the funds, how would engineers do the prototyping.

The day funds are released, actually at that date actual R&D start.

Before that all is chaff and flare.
 
So in two years time (2026) a protype will fly with US engines? That is an ambitious timeline indeed.
Nope that is rollout, 4.5 years to test flight.
And 10 years to IOC,
Actually the contract for AMCA’s ironbird was already awarded in Dec 2023.
