For Muslims, Hindus, Christians Tarique Rahman's Bangladesh Unity Appeal

Massive unrest and political instability after youth leader Sharif Osman Hadi's murder preceded Tarique Rahman's appeal today

Dhaka/New Delhi:
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) acting chairman Tarique Rahman today asked the people of his troubled nation to work together for bringing peace and stability. Rahman made the appeal in his first address to party supporters hours after he landed in Dhaka after a gap of 17 years.

Massive unrest and political instability after youth leader Sharif Osman Hadi's murder preceded Rahman's appeal today. Osman was the face of last year's protests that led to the collapse of the Sheikh Hasina government.
"Whatever political party we belong to, whatever religion we believe in, whether we are non-partisan individuals -- all must join hands to maintain law and order," Rahman said in Dhaka.

Thousands were seen at the site of the rally, where he went directly from the airport.

Rahman, 60, the son of former prime minister Khaleda Zia, has emerged as a top contender for prime ministership in the Bangladesh election.

Referring to a quote by US civil rights activist Martin Luther King, Rahman said, "I have a plan for the people of my country and for my country."
"This plan is for the interest of the people, for the development of the country, for changing the lot of the country. To implement the plan, I need the support of all the people of the country. If you stand beside us, god willing, we will be able to implement my plan," Rahman added.

He said he wants to make a safe Bangladesh where people irrespective of castes, creeds and faiths can live in a peaceful environment.

"We have people from the hills and the plains in this country - Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and Christians. We want to build a safe Bangladesh, where every woman, man and child can leave home safely and return safely," he said.

Rahman's call for unity came as Jamaat-e-Islami, the BNP's coalition partner during its 2001-2006 tenure in power, emerged as its main rival in the upcoming polls after the interim government blocked Awami League's participation under the country's tough Anti-Terrorism Act.

He asked people to pray for her ailing mother and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, whom he met after leaving the rally venue.

Tarique has in the past few years seemed to be preaching a more inclusive message.

Basically TZ is saying that image what he said today that Bangladesh is for all citizens regardless of their religiion.

However one of the biggest challenges facing Bangladesh is that whilst we may be aspiring to build a civilised inclusive society of different religions and ethnic groups (Bengalis, Sylhetis, Chakmas, Manipuris) and even India is constitutionally a multi-ethnic federation with parliamentary democracy our aggressive neighbour to the east Myanmar is a genocidal fascist regime hell-bent on either subjugating or genociding an Indic people, the Rohingyas.

Bangladesh in contrast does not ethnically cleanse its Mongoloid minorities.

One of Hasina's major failures was the Rohingya fiasco and the BNP did much better on that front than the Awami League.

We will have to work with regional partners such as China, India and non-regional partners such as the US on a humanitarian solution to the Rohingya genocide including the repatriation of both Muslim and Hindu Rohingyas.

1766694122368.png

This repatriation may have to include the use of military pressure or force to ensure that Rohingyas - Muslim or Hindu - are repatriated to a safe zone in the northern Rakhine state. Dhaka must keep New Delhi in the picture with this project as New Delhi has legitimate security concerns around the north-east of the sub-continent and adjacent region.

Both China and Thailand have secured regime-free de facto independent zones on their borders with Myanmar and still trade with Myanmar we need to do the same and work with India and America regarding this issue.

Myanmar and the other Mongoloid ethnic groups of the "seven sisters" dislike Indic people of any religion. Their hatred is a racial one as they view us as ugly, darker and inferior. This applies to both Hindu or Muslims. In the north-east of India there have been massacres of desi/Indic people by Mongoloid ethnic groups and in Thailand recently a Hindu structure was destroyed.

Now Hindu extremists hate Bangladesh, the BJP hate Muslims and Bangladesh and spread lies about us in the same way the BJI hate Hindus and India. People like Arnab Goswami and Major Gaurav Arya threaten, hint at invading us other small incidents.

However what needs to be done in conjunction with New Delhi is setting up a safe zone for Rohingyas, Muslim or Hindu, in the northern Rakhine state.

1766694704615.pngIf you look at the Thai border with Myanmar practically all of it is controlled by rebel groups free of Tatmadaw control and Thailand backs them we need to do the same.

OMG! Neither China nor India will support a so called “safe zone”.

It ain’t happening, bro!

India didn’t even help Hasina. There’s no way they are helping Tareq.

China doesn’t get involved in ethic strifes in other countries. Look how they shy away in South America and Africa.

And as I have said before, any attempt at arming the Rohingyas will backfire so badly - it would make the Taliban-Soviet experience seem like a picnic.

Rohingyas would turn those arms against us in months and we’ll end up with an insurgency. They’ll invite ISIS nutters to fight with them.

Sometimes, you just have to accept you have dud and deal with it!

Continue Hasina’s policy of dispatching them to islands where they can be monitored and managed.

Previous Bangladeshi governments prior to Hasina were able to ensure the repatriation of Rohingyas.

The Armenians ethnically cleansed Azeris from Nagorno-Karabakh and for around 30 years the Azeris had to host 1 million internal refugees then with the help of Turkey they regained Nagorno Karabakh.

Myanmar is a land full of civil war where around a dozen or so militias have carved out statelets.

Chaitgayas do not want to keep hosting Rohingyas in their region as there is trouble. Some in India would also be happy if some Rohingyas were repatriated to a safe zone rather than stay in Bangladesh and destabilise Bangladesh or become Jamaatis.

What people fail to realise is that the Mongoloid people of the north-east of the sub-continent have a deep hatred for all Indic peoples be they Hindu or Muslim and we need to work with India on this issue. India is theoratically a multi-ethnic liberal democracy but in practice it is a fellow Indic state like us.

Assam was the location of the Nellie Massacre where Tiwa Mongoloids Indian Bengali Muslim men, women and children, anything between 2,000 to 3,000.

Tiwa Mongoloids.

1766755667991.png

Indian Bengali Muslims were murdered and slaughtered by Tiwa tribals.

These Mongoloid peoples whether they be in Myanmar or north-eastern India hate Indic people and want to dominate the land they live in and have exclusive possession of it and engage in ethnic cleansing and massacres. In Myanmar they have stripped Rohingyas who were Myanmar citizens of their citizenship and have been massacring and ethnically cleansing them. Under Mujib, Zia and even Khaleda Zia they were not allowed to get away with this but under Hasina (obsessed with some war 50 years ago but not the very real present day suffering of Rohingyas) she allowed the Myanmar junta to get away with war crimes.

Even if India doesn't want to "help", they will have to know that we cannot keep on hosting 1 million Rohingyas in the largest refugee camp on earth and we will have to work with America, Turkey and others on repatriation and if necessary the forcible creation of a safe-zone or backing of rebels to ensure that as Thailand does on its border.

There is no other choice, we cannot keep on sustaining 1 million Rohingya in Chittagong and it's a betrayal of our Chaitgaya citizens and countrymen.

The Azeri example is not good given Turks’ history with Armenia.

Bangladesh is the only Muslim country not bordering another Muslim country.

We are truly unique.

That has massive upsides: free from terrorism and extremism. But also massive downsides: we are on our own..

These Mongoloids live in the most poorest countries in the world. Poor and violent.

They will fight anyone even their own kind.

Quite different from their East Asian cousins. Thankfully the mongoloid in Chittagong are not that violent thanks to ruling them with an iron fist.

We have the burdern of hosting 1 million refugees because of Hasina who cared more about a war over half a century ago and the 'chetona spirit' than real modern day problems.

Myanmar backed down when Zia warmed them!

1766756841833.png

We need to work with the USA and Turkey to put pressure on the Myanmar regime to ensure the repatration of Rohingyas.

I don't mean nonsense like 'working with the Myanmar regime' which is ridiculous given they will ask for ID of refugees whose houses they have burnt down which included documents. I mean warning them of severe consequences.

We also need to beef up our air force and militarily rapidly.

If needs be even invite a future Turkish air carrier to our shores as a deterrent to Myanmar.

1766757111987.png

A US aircraft carrier can hold around 70-90 fighter jets so the Turkish air craft carrier could hold at least a minimum of 60 jets which is way more than the entire airforce of Myanmar.

1766757264292.png

I am sure the Turks will be happy to help us.

They want exclusive control of the land where they are based.

1. In Bangladesh's CHT they don't want Bangladeshi citizens who are non-Mongoloid to be there and want an ethnically "pure" Mongoloid region.

2. In Assam they false claim Indian Muslims (of Bengali ethnicity) are newcomers when they are not. They also say the same about Indic Hindus which are lies.

3. In Myanmar they didn't want Indic Rohingyas to live there and genocided and ethnically cleansed them.

We have to take a stand and we should also be prepared to work with India against Mongoloid racial supremacism, terror and ethnic cleansing of Indic peoples.

India and Bangladesh are prepared to have minorities living within our country.

These Mongoloid tribals in India, Bangladesh (CHT region) or Myanmar are not.

We (India, Bangladesh) are tolerant, they are not and want to kill us and cleanse us.

Like they helped in Syria and Palestine?

1. In Syria the Turks helped the Syrians overthrow the brutal Assad regime (I have visited the middle east and know Syrians and Assad was evil) and the new Syrian government is heavily influenced by them.

Without Turkey, Syria would not be free now.

2. Erdogan is now visiting Iran and planning to install radars in Syria to counter Israel.

3. The new Syrian army is heavily influenced by Turkey including training.

1766757990921.png

4. Palestine, Turkey does not have a direct border with Palestine/Israel like it does with Syria. However when Turks ruled Palestine for centuries there was peace there.

In the Bangladesh context, Turkey will have no problem using Bangladeshi soil if we have a nationalist government that allows them to train on our soil.

Okay - looks like we are going all over the place. Please focus on the opening topic of the thread everyone.

And also - no racist remarks will be tolerated. Please keep that in mind.

Yup, but there is no need to worry that much, their IQ is quite low.

a economic blockade will do instead of a full scale war with them. We are ready if they want a war.

Bangladesh is for Bangladeshi citizens, who are they to demand such things as no Bengalis in Chittagong hills.

If the Burmese do start a war - it might provide the opportunity to grab a safe zone for the Rohingyas. Sort of land grab - Zionist style.

Okay - looks like we are going all over the place. Please focus on the opening topic of the thread everyone.

And also - no racist remarks will be tolerated. Please keep that in mind.

The topic of the Rohingyas is directly related to the OP.

Tariq Zia spoke of an inclusive and pluralistic Bangladesh of different ethnic groups and religions. Now in the Rohingya context they are not indigenous to Bangladesh but just as Bangladeshi citizens of different ethnic and religious backgrounds have basic rights to human dignity so do they. Therefore they deserve the right to return to their homeland.

Bangladesh has sought to do this peacefully and had dialogue with an ethno-fascist military regime next door. However to no avail, thus the only option is to pursue policies that people such as Zia Rahman did successfully.

As for 'racism' describing the hostility of Mongoloid peoples to Indic peoples of India and Bangladesh is an attempt to counter their racism and reduce their racism which has manifested itself in wholesale slaughter of men, women and children e.g. the Nellie Massacre and false propaganda that only Mongoloid peoples are indigenous to the land.

@MNZGamerX has produced work elsewhere pointing out that the Mongoloid peoples of the CHT are not indigenous to the land and do not have the right to call themselves indigenous/aboriginal (thus implying a lesser status for other Bangladeshi citizens who should be "Banned" from residing in locations in their own country) but it is better to call them 'tribal'.

Chakmas and other Mongoloid peoples can live anywhere in Bangladesh and own land be it:
- Dhaka
- Chittagong
- Sylhet
Anywhere

Whereas I as an ethnic Bengali (Sylheti) cannot live in the CHT and it's a NO-GO zone for Bengalis as far as living there.

In other words they have preferential treatment and I am in some ways a second class citizen in my own country.

We couldn't even relocated Rohingyas to the sparsely populated CHT but Chaitgayas have to put up with an influx of over 1 million foreigners (Rohingyas) to an already heavily populated country.

This Mongoloid hostility and racism to Indic peoples is not just limited to Bangladeshis or Indian Bengali Muslims but also to Bengali Hindus, two of whom were murdered recently in Assam.

So as I said before connect the dots.

1. North-eastern India: Mongoloids 'We don't want Indic people (Muslim or Hindu) here and will carry out violence.'

2. Bangladesh, CHT: Mongoloids 'We don't want Indic people (Muslim or Hindu) here and will carry out violence.'

3. Myanmar, Rakhine: Mongoloids ''We don't want Indic people (Muslim or Hindu) here and will carry out violence.'

We shouldn't have to put up with violence, genocide, ethnic cleansing, massacres and if Tariq Zia is talking about a safe Bangladesh where everyone can feel comfortable that includes me as an ethnic Bengali (Sylheti) and also the Rohingyas.
