Venezuela - US Conflict: News, Updates

China is/was the largest buyer of Venezuelan Oil. ANd now the World can see the big problem with China. It is a pathetic country incapable of defending it allies.

Geography matters. China is at other side of the world. As far as oil is concerned, China buys its majority oil from Russia, The venezulean oil will be compensated from russian & middle east sources. So it was really not worth the effort given the risks involved.

Taking over a neighbouring country to extract oil and rape their coffers is beyond comprehension. All allies including the UK have made statements -
“This has NOTHING to do with us nor did we participate in this. International law must be obeyed. “
Disgraceful

Now that Trump administration is willing to kill or capture virtually anybody in Venezuela, who in the country wants the war to expand? The next Venezuelan leader will find it easier to change course in an attempt to placate Trump. Even Maduro was open to this possibility and nobody questioned him. Venezuelan institutions are largely intact, they can restore order and facilitate transition in power. The likelihood of civil war increases when institutions are destroyed and the ground becomes ripe for new entities emerge and fight.
That is the issue, even Maduro is willing to change, yet Trump snatched him like it was a Sunday walk, would the next guys see this as "oh I should change because he napped him" or "Well I am going to be dead or end up in a supermax in the US anyway, may as well go down fighting." The latter is why the Taliban would fight us to their death by the way..

And they know we don't have an appetite for another war, that's why we are doing this, that is the issue here........

We also have to give credit to Maduro for being exceptional dumb and incompetent as a leader too.

He knew this was coming for a long time too.

It is not only Maduro. This is the story of almost every developing country in the world today. The Western nations have figured out the brown countries a very long time ago. First they colonised them, murdered them and stole their resources. They left begrudgingly knowing they weren't done, but they left their legacy behind. The rulers of these defeated, developing and third world countries as we call them aren't capable of putting up a fight. It is a one-sided contest.

Worst of all, the brown nations don't have the IQ to learn and unite. They have figured that out too. The only exception are East Asian nations, but that is no surprise. They will pick apart all of these brown resource rich and geostrategic nations one by one. For the Western bloc this is unfinished business.

The level of shamelessness is so high that now they don't even hide the fact. The defense secretary openly said that we are doing this to get our oil back which was stolen from us LOL! First they were hijacking their oil tankers. now they actually abducted their president. not to mention number of missiles they fired on a civilian population.
BTW, americans history is filled with such incidents. They are epic shameless bastards.

Trump told Maduro to step down, Maduro refused so he was removed by force. Other Venezuelan leaders have the option to work with Trump. An example have been set for them. This might surprise you but many countries do not want to fight a war with a superpower, it leads to nowhere but bending the knee. Better do it without significant bloodshed. The US does not have appetite for war? Trump's move shows otherwise.

All lip service bro. The European Union had a different message.

Saudis will be the big losers here. Americans have successfully grabbed the world’s largest oil reserves. Saudis will no longer be needed by the Americans that much now. If I was Riyadh today I would be feeling very vulnerable and bad news for them.
I heard that Venezuelan oil is harder to get and dirty, requiring extensive refining. So it cannot be produced at the same cost as the Saudis and GCC. I also think it will be a very long time before Venezuelan oil is able to flood the markets. Saudis have 5 to 7 years to adapt.

More than 60 Billion dollars of Chinese investments have just gone down the toilet. It is a strategic setback for China and Russia. The next in line is Brazil. It will be the death of BRICS.

Interesting you mention Brazil. America and Lula don't go well together.

The foundation of a country is its vast number of workers and peasants, not the government.

Mencius, a Chinese philosopher from 2,386 years ago, said that workers and peasants are the most important, and the state comes second. The leadership of the government should be based on the interests of the largest group of people.

We need to see whether the president of Venezuela has the support of the majority of the people. If the government does not treat workers and peasants well, they will not resist. If the government treats workers and peasants well and changes their lives, I believe these workers and peasants will fight for their rights.

Russia is extremely incompetent and useless, they didn't know there was a massive US deployment in Cuba exercises and never assisted old friends at all. It is time to dump Russia.

US should capture Moscow next quick and surprise!

Trump:

Nobody can stop us. There’s nobody with the capability that we have.

When I watch that war in Russia going on and on and on, with everybody dying, it’s primitive. It’s primitive. It’s horrible.
