That is the million dollar question - because the Qualm prefers their apartments and money to Pakistan any minute of their days.
Interestingly, I would think Pakistanis would be better served by taking their Dubai investments(at least those not totally haram) and moving it to KSA. That will gain a lot of goodwill.
Both Medina and Makkah are opening up to foreign ownership soon - and all over - this is where Pakistanis should park money (because nothing will convince them of investing in Pakistan) and at least help build goodwill where it matters instead of their repute as filthy day laborers and beggars.
From what I'm reading, Saudis may end up engineering a coup in the UAE. Saudis are currently backing the Emir of Sharjah(Salafi conservative Emirate with warm relations with Saudi) to become the leader of the UAE.
Abu Dhabi is the largest Emirate and most powerful politically and militarily, but the United Arab Emirates require the Acquiescence of all 7 to rule. Dubai is neutral on the geopolitical game, so Idk how they would react. But Sharjah will align with Saudi if push comes to shove.
