The primary MO of the TTP and their supporters is to not let women get educated/emancipated. That is 50% of the population in Pakistan and also KPK, and if this demographic, rightfully starts questioning these TTP Khanzeers and their affiliated supporters about their regressive, backwards interpretation, that is another obstruction to their expansionist plans, thus these medieval actions.

There was yet another kinetic operation yesterday that resulted in more than 10 TTP KIA. What is insightful is that they were operating from within homes (it was not clear if the homes were evacuated or populated) in the area. If populated, it begs the question, who is giving them refuge and if they were under duress or willingly giving it.

PTI supporters will say it was the Army, and you will find not one of them will come out to condemn such attacks, TTP is blowing up schools for years, now one should ask where is that idiot CM KPK? he will send his daughters/sister to schools and universities while Tribal people are getting the few remaining school blown up by TTP.

Who is constitutionally empowered to defend the borders of Pakistan from outside threats? Is it PTI, the tribals or armed forces of Pakistan? 🇵🇰

11 terrorists killed in 2 intelligence-based operations in KP: ISPR​

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday that security forces killed eleven terrorists in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In a statement, the military’s media affairs wing said the operations were carried out on Jan 8 and that the terrorists belonged to Indian proxy Fitna al Khawarij.

Fitna al Khawarij is a term the state uses for terrorists belonging to the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

It said that an IBO was conducted by the security forces in North Waziristan district on the reported presence of terrorists. During the operation, troops engaged the terrorists, and six were killed after an “intense fire exchange”.

“Another joint IBO by police and security forces was conducted in Kurram district. In the ensuing fire exchange, five khawarij were effectively neutralised,” it said.

The statement said weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained “actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces, law enforcement agencies and the target killing of innocent civilians”.
 

JUI-F leader succumbs to injuries following blast in Lower South Waziristan​

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: A senior Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader succumbed to his injuries on Saturday morning after being critically wounded in a bomb blast near a madressah in the Wana bazaar area.

Police said on Friday that a remote-controlled improvised explosive device (IED) was planted in the Konra Cheena area near a religious seminary to target Maulana Sultan Muhammad Wazir, who was also the district president of Wafaqul Madaris al Arabia.

He was immediately taken to Dera Ismail Khan for medical treatment but breathed his last on the way.
