The problem with all these statements is that in essence its math not design.

There is math which solves to a particular design being the best balance for low RCS, maneuvering, payload and building ease.

So if the math is common - why would not everyone build around it.

The “copying” is simply everyone taking advantage of the math the US worked out 30 years before any competition

I'm sorry that is how it works EVERYWHERE. Including at Boeing, where I myself have been a part of various CDRs with FAA Tech Reps and Boeing's senior design folks involved. Only after they cleared the design did it go for manufacture.

Boeings a mess right now so probably not the best example but true for procedures.

Tejas Mk2 was not delayed.

If Govt refuse to disperse the funds, how would engineers do the prototyping.

The day funds are released, actually at that date actual R&D start.

Before that all is chaff and flare.

Funds are always released in time by the current govt. The delays are because the preliminary technology was not developed without which it is impossible to proceed to nest stage. India is clear that AMCA shall have no imported key components except for engines and even the engines will be replaced with Indian 110kN ones by 2032

Isn’t this a bit too premature? The is flying in prototype form the other is a project. These is nothing like which one is better since for the moment only one „is“!
