PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

cut the sh!t guys.

no need to argue about silly things.

one can understand, some newcomers, desperate with those tweets, bear no weight to be considered posting here.

even i can throw a few hints based on some authentic news. it will immediately get controversial.

if we have nothing new to discuss, let it be. news will come out at its time.

and what do one say about someone senior. it seems this forum is all about scoring some points. wise to avoid commenting on such posts, which in the end conclude nonconstructive or unachievable.

I am not sure if Indians are getting Ra-fail because we are getting J35 or are we getting J35 because Indians are getting Ra - fail ?

Based on current global circumstances, J35 is an immediate need of Pakistan, along with more refuelers. vigilance is important all the time and more loiter time for aircrafts in CAPs with massive range boost to protect Pakistan Saudi Defense alliance.

Lastly, Pakistan should think about J16 to increase its TNT to per sortie ratio.... This is going to be critical for a conventional edge.

Now Turkish reporting it as well....

Toilet grade X accounts re-echoing the same nonsense - you should not believe any of it.

If Pakistan does get J35 before 2028 India will literally go nuts they would have no choice but to go to Russians, indians will again be sent into shopping spree which will hinder their domestic programs.

The Indians are aware of the J-35 which will end up in the PAF at some point, so the decision to go for more Rafales is odd, unless of course the Indians are trying to line themselves up for inducting a French version of FCAS as a counter to the J-35 and J-20 down the road. This is the only thing that makes sense to me logically, ie keep Dassault afloat and buy into the Dassault ecosystem fully as pathway for FCAS. The IAF will have as much faith in the AMCA as it did with the Tejas.

I think we are giving them too much credit, the Rafales are a panic buy to address the massive numbers deficit and aging fleets.

My guess is with all of this panic they have not even got around to seriously thinking about how to take on the J-35. A consequence of constantly playing catch up

2028~2030 seems the reasonable timeline in case a deal is singed in first half of 2026 which hasn't been singed SO FAR. Pakistanis are geeting Jazbaati just because CAS said that plan for induction of J-35 are in motion. Understandably, any such plan would need political and financial backing from GoP and that heavily depends on multiple factors like economy, change of PAF's own priorities after May 25 war, growing 4.5 challenge from IAF after deal of Rafale. Now that IAF has committed for 114 Rafale for 36 Billion USD deal (if we believe Indian media) it means there is no immidiate threat of IAF's 5th gen fighter. Naturally, PAF will press for more J-10CEs along with short-to-medium range ADS while Pakistan Army will induct and produce more missile for rocket force command and bulk of resources will diverted to these projects before PAF can resume induction of J-35As. So, economic, geopolitical, and technical all reasons are there to assume that J-35As are NOT coming anytime soon.

Makes sense since the the joint venture between Airbus and dassault regarding six gen fighter is over. Maybe this is just a pathway to FCAS. Any it's a good news for pak, they'll keep busy buying from outside and we hopelly build our indeginous tech.
