PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

Since it is the same situation like last year when the same guys and sources claimed "until August, until late 2025 we will get them" and NOTHING changed since then!
The Shenyang factory is a change from 2025, right?

Will not happen and probably shouldn't happen until India acquires 5th Gen
imo it's necessary because PAF and Pakistan can not play number games with the Indian.

The Indians are aware of the J-35 which will end up in the PAF at some point, so the decision to go for more Rafales is odd, unless of course the Indians are trying to line themselves up for inducting a French version of FCAS as a counter to the J-35 and J-20 down the road. This is the only thing that makes sense to me logically, ie keep Dassault afloat and buy into the Dassault ecosystem fully as pathway for FCAS. The IAF will have as much faith in the AMCA as it did with the Tejas.
tbh i am more worried that they will grow some iq points and get f35s .

You mean they will relocate / change the production? IMO not, they will likely start production at the news site in mid-2026 but IMO they won't give up the old one for years to come ... again @Michael can correct me!

I'm not sure which factory you're referring to?

The SAC factory relocation project is a partial relocation, not a complete one. We can understand it as them building a completely new factory, with some systems from the old factory being transferred to the new one, while other parts of the old factory will remain intact and continue to operate.

The new factory primarily serves the production system for the next generation of fighter aircraft (5th/6th-generation fighters, and possibly UAVs).

SAC's older projects are still being carried out at the old factory, such as the Chinese Flanker series fighter jets.

The SAC new factory project is massive. The final assembly plant is currently completed, and the test flight runway is also largely finished. However, the supporting aerospace industrial park is still under construction.

You both know about Chinese airpower far more than me. I wasn't on this forum in 2025 but whenever I heard anywhere that J-35 is coming to Pakistan, I didn't buy it.
However, now the mass production of J-35 is on horizon and realistically the timeline of 2026-27 is possible.
The official order by Pakistan, infrastructure for 5th gen etc. are different issues but that 270000 sq m new factory is a big change from last year.

I'm not participating in the prediction game of "When will the PAF acquire the FC-31/J-35 fighter jet?"

SAC's new factory project plans have been publicly available for a long time.
In China, this type of information is legally required to be disclosed. From the moment they received land approval, all information had to be made public.
I don't know how our Pakistani friends are monitoring or analyzing this information, but it certainly isn't "breaking news."

Frankly speaking, The PAF's procurement volume will not be a large number. The total number of J-35 series fighter jets currently produced by SAC's old factory (including those already delivered, those ready for delivery, and those currently in production) is already a substantial figure.

I suggest that our primary focus should be on:
1. What is the current level of technological maturity of the J-35 series fighter jet?
2. When will the PAF officially place an order?

The prostitution didn't work 🤣🤣.

Donald Trumps favourite Field Marshall posing with the CEO of American company to whom he sold all the remittances.

Less than 12 hours after this deal USA slapped a ban on settlement of Pakistani citizens in USA 😅😅
Bhai how relevant is it to j 35? i wonder
