Trump will circle back to Iran in a couple weeks once all the assets are in place.

As I said earlier, even if no attack happens and riots completely stop: Iran is on unstable trajectory towards collapse.

Without sanctions relief the currency will continue to plummet and riots will start up again in 1-2 years. Iran cannot play wack a mole with rioters every couple of years.

Something needs to be done. Either be poor with nukes or surrender the nuclear weapons program and get out of sanctions.

This do nothing and starve approach is not the answer

If they truly censor the whole internet with their own domestic version, this would buy them more time.

And maybe they manage to fix things or get lucky and oil prices increase etc
