Bangladesh will not play T20 World Cup games in India over safety concerns

Pakistani and Bangladeshis present here think, they are playing gully cricket, that their teams can participate and withdraw from an international tournament at will and can dictate the terms on which the tournament will be held.

Pakistan and Bangladesh have entered in to binding Contracts with the ICC to play this tournament.

If they refuse to play, obviously they forfeit the revenues from the tournament but ICC can also take further action against board including suspending or banning the member board from further ICC tournaments. due to breach of contract.

I think it is time to establish WCC [World Cricket Council] with like-minded boards and build it to rival the India-driven ICC over the next 10 years. I am sure many cricket-playing nations will join WCC as partners. WCC HQ could be based in Riyadh or Doha. Oman would just do it. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, West Indies, and South Africa can become its permanent members. Maybe Ireland can join, too.

Let ICC have England, India, Australia, New Zealand and Afghanistan, UAE, USA and others

Bangladesh and Pakistan we can understand, but why would South Africa, Sri Lanka, west Indies and Zimbabwe join Pakistan and Bangladesh ?

BTW both Pakistan and Bangladesh are amongst lowest ranked ICC teams.

Don't lose sleep over it. A full boycott of India will come first and foremost. We will neither play against your team of government controlled bots nor will we play in your country full of uncontrollable street shhitting hooligans.

We have no issue with other countries.

Do keep trying though.

How did it work out for you when you asked SL to leave Pakistan in November?

Sure buddy..why don't do it... rather than just boasting about it.

Just in 2 days time..all your boast will be laid bare.

The truth is that money talks, and BCCI generates most of it in international cricket. BCCI's annual revenue is over 2.2 billion USD, which is around 30x that of Cricket Australia, which is the next richest board. Top international cricketers from most countries can make more money in one season of IPL than they woud earn in their entire career as international cricketers. So, it is delusional to think that BCCI will not control the ICC and have huge leverage because the BCCI generates most of of its revenue domestically and can afford to pull India out of international cricket completely because the world's best cricketers that BCCI allows will still come and play in the IPL. Even in international cricket, most of the money is generated by India playing Australia and England and to a lesser extent South Africa and the other countries are essentially side-shows as far the money is concerned.

This is great, India hosting a WC with none of it's neighbours playing.

India should be stripped of this and whole thing should move to UAE

If they heard a British guy with a British flag on indo-bdeshi cricket, then your life will be of use.

Since they will not, you can sit back down.

Ask Pakistan to boycott the event. Let's see if your trolling is only limited to a Pakistani forum or they care about the opinions of a British guy.

PCB has nothing to lose by refusing Indian requests to play against Pakistan. India alone loses out on its "marquee fixture" narrative.

I think if both Bangladesh and Pakistan do this, it will be good for the game in the long term, by confirming BCCI as a pariah mini-state unto itself, wholly incompetent in managing global sporting events simply because it cannot control the emotions of its own crowds.
Cricket is not changing, it is what it is and Pakistan needs to make a decisive call.

Indian and BJP run cricket has taken the sporting out of a sporting event.

Somehow they managed this

Cricket is fragile, there are not many established test teams and giants like the West Indies lay in slumber, so you can just exist in decay, let Scotland or Canada or whoever replace Pakistan and Bangladesh

You seem to care a lot about Pakistani opinions.....

Mate, this single post shows you know nothing about cricket and indeed your blind following of Modi makes you incapable of sound logoc.

Also, please, put your own flag on your profile...

These are well-known facts. India produces the lion’s share of the ICC’s revenue, and all the smaller teams, including the associate nations, benefit from the money earned by India.

I don't what "logoc " you are talking about, but you keep proving that you are a duffer Askarandu, and not even a Patwari. Even those baniyas understand that the only qualification that Amit Shah's son, who has probably not even ever played club cricket, has to run the ICC is the immense and overwhelming financial clout that India has in world cricket.

Cricket has progressed by leaps and bounds during this period, along with a rise in the number of well-established teams that can compete toe to toe with each other—unlike in the past, when only a handful of teams were competitive at the international level.

So, the period you’re referring to—when the West Indies were considered giants of the sport—was most definitely not as competitive or developed as the 1990s era or the present one.

Test cricket i mean, and that's dying.

That's why they are talking about a two tier league.
