@Fatman17 is correct. You started this thread based solely on "X" posts with relatively little substantive input of your own since. Mostly "X" reports. The thread should have been locked right there. Therefore, I can understand the logic used in moving to General Media.

Would really like to see more discussion of the the topic and less "X" reposts. I can read those all day long on "X". No need to see them here. Plenty of other sources to draw from and elaborate on.

Defence Scheme No. 1 was created on April 12, 1921, and detailed a surprise invasion of the northern United States as soon as possible after evidence was received of a US invasion of Canada. It assumed that the US would first attempt to capture Montreal and Ottawa and then Hamilton, Toronto, the Prairie Provinces, and Vancouver and the rest of Southwestern British Columbia. Defence Scheme No. 1's US counterpart was War Plan Red, a plan to invade Canada as part of a war with Britain that was created in 1930.[1]

The purpose of invading the US was to allow time for Canada to prepare its war effort and to receive aid from Britain. According to the plan, Canadian flying columns stationed in Pacific Command in western Canada would immediately be sent to seize Seattle, Spokane, and Portland. Troops stationed in Prairie Command would attack Fargo and Great Falls, then advance towards Minneapolis. Troops from Quebec would be sent to seize Albany in a surprise counterattack while troops from the Maritime Provinces would invade Maine. When resistance grew, the Canadian soldiers would retreat to their own borders, destroying bridges and railways to delay US military pursuit.[1][2]

Ah gotcha! I see your points. I’ll try to reduce some reposts from Twitter/X.

From my side, I find Twitter/X really useful because it shares good videos, interesting topics, and quick updates fast.

Similarly, you can check the first post below with all the article links. I feel most people won’t read long articles and some are blocked by paywalls.

This is beginning to seem rather contrived, shoe-horning of some fantasy into a particular context just to suit the narrator's bias.

Trump has this fantastic, magnanimous idea of encouraging NATO strengthening ...by provoking other members into increasing defense spending because of the threat he himself poses.

There are, quite evidently, ways Trump can force NATO countries to increase spending on their militaries without threatening NATO territory himself.
 
Hopefully the military campaign will not be as bloody as other American campaigns in Iraq, Afghanistan and Vietnam.

They already see war in Ukraine from their neighbor in the East and they don't even really have the weapon stocks to do anything about it.

Trump now says they still aren't taking weapon procurement seriously. So to push the issue he'll say "what are you going to do if you can't turn to us for weapons procurement for your own defense?"

My own personal opinion is that has been the way it is for quite awhile now. The elites go to Davos, engage in debauchery with high class hookers, and when everyone leaves, the policy outcomes are not for our betterment.

Notice now that climate change is not big "the sky is falling" issue at the moment. Other than President Trump humiliating a lot of them, what is the big topic they are currently talking about?
