Why can't India play China at table tennis ( and badminton) which is popular in India as well.

We do play them in international tournaments. To the best of my knowledge India doesn't bilaterals in any of these sports. Maybe you might know better.

Regards
Dyslexia again. The word was not international tournaments. The example of the US outreach to China was by the US table -tennis team visiting China as a diplomatic and bilateral sporting gesture. In fact the Chinese table-tennis team soundly beat the US players, but no Chinese origin Americans were lynched in the USA. The same went for ice-hockey tournaments between the Soviet Union and the USA. Americans and Chinese have a great sporting spirit.

The animosity between China and the USA is strategic, and economic, not religious or even ideological. Sports remains unaffected. The strain in sporting ties between , Bangladesh , and Pakistan on one side and India on the other is a result of Hindu-Muslim animosity which is endemic to India's internal politics and divisions. It is highly unlikely that normal sporting links between India and Pakistan, Bangladesh can be sustained.

It’s striking how, at the urging of the BJP, segments of the Indian media launched a wave of negative propaganda against Bangladesh circulating exaggerated claims and outright fabricated stories suggesting that Hindus were unsafe there. In reality, the issues at hand were political, not religious. Yet this manufactured narrative helped cultivate an openly anti‑Bangladesh and anti‑Muslim atmosphere inside India.

The situation escalated further when a Bangladeshi cricketer, initially selected for the IPL, was abruptly dropped following pressure from Hindutva groups and political actors aligned with the BJP. That incident became a turning point in Bangladesh, where many saw it as a deliberate humiliation rather than a sporting decision.

As tensions rose, Bangladesh ultimately decided to boycott the T20 World Cup hosted in India, citing legitimate security concerns for its players and supporters. Instead of taking those concerns seriously, the ICC once again appeared to side with the BCCI continuing a long standing pattern in which India’s cricketing influence outweighs the grievances of smaller nations.

The entire episode reflects a deeper problem: political agendas spilling into sports, media, and regional relations, creating mistrust where cooperation should have been possible.

This kind of behavior from the ICC doesn’t just undermine trust; it threatens the integrity of cricket itself. When political pressure, media manipulation, and unequal treatment dictate decisions, the sport loses its fairness, its credibility, and ultimately its global appeal. If such trends continue, cricket risks being damaged not by competition on the field, but by politics off it.

And Bangladesh, a player was removed from the domestic tournament (IPL). This has led to unnecessary drama, seemingly driven to gain domestic popularity ahead of the upcoming elections.

Pakistan joined in merely as a cheerleader, as it had no impact on the decision. This clearly shows that the PCB holds little to NO influence at this level, having failed to secure support from even a single third country during the board meeting.”
There are other cheerleaders who are sports personalities from other sports like this "has been " badminton player, badly affected by the Hindutva virus.

Confused why you posted that video. Is it about sports that is to foster goodwill or is it about money?
Would do a comparison of the football teams in the World Cup , earnings of which dwarfs ICC ?

Why not? India is the largest market for ICC, 70-80% of ICC revenue comes from India then 38% is unfair but sure why not. That makes the rest of the boards recipients of our welfare. Boards line up to play cricket against us lol! India is single handedly responsibile for this sports survival.
We run T20 leagues, promote them in obscure regions where nobody even plays cricket promoting it. Yes ultimately it's a profit driven business but we are not squatting anywhere, we are the primary drivers of cricketing.

Take case of BD, India as a policy played test matches with them so that they can get the status of test playing country. Afghan cricket exist at all because we gave them grounds they can play. What have you done?
You do not understand the context of the conversation because you jumped in on it.

India benefits MOST from Ind-Pak matches. Therefore it is not in Pakistan's financial interests to sustain these specific matches. On the contrary, it will harm Indian cricket if we withdraw from these matches permanently - India only has its own petulance to blame for this loss of the "marquee fixture", should it occur.

I am not actually claiming that India should not derive most income overall. That's a different argument for another day.

India no longer views sports as an instrument to foster goodwill but to use it as a fascist propaganda tool . The question is not the game but how it can be used to foster an Anti-Muslim narrative.
India continued playing cricket with Sri Lanka throughout the Sinhala Buddhist-Tamil Hindu civil war lasting 20 years which saw about half a million ( estimated) Tamil Hindus killed and millions displaced . The number of Hindus killed or displaced in Bangladesh for whatever reasons is comparatively less over a much shorter duration. The Indian Prime Minister got whacked by the rifle butt of a Sri Lankan naval rating while attending a guard of honor and was later blown to smithereens by a suicide bomber. Yet there were no shrill demands inside India for boycott of the Sri Lankan cricket team or disrupt the matches.
Reason :
The Tamil Hindu-Sinhala-Buddhist tensions and atrocities on Tamil Hindus do not resonate as forcefully as Hindu-Muslim tensions. India can lynch however many Muslims it wants and can claim these as "internal affairs ". The same rule does not apply to Bangladesh ( obviously).

No, india does not depend on that money, for an example - india play against Pakistan in Asia Cup and whatever the benefits from the matches - india don't take it .

India just transferred all their money to other asian (non-regulrar) test cricket planning nationals.

It again, it's fake bubble in Pakistan that india needs money by playing with Pakistan
Hindustan has betrayed the sindoor of its widows by playing against Pakistan instead of boycotting us fully on ideological grounds. This is for financial gain, not necessarily for BCCI, but for greasy skinny fat middle men who pop up everywhere in Hindustani industry solely to take kickbacks. From the TV companies to the circus that accompanies village screenings of the game, every echelon stands to lose put when the "marquee fixture" doesn't materialise.

All Pakistan wants is for you to be less shameless and actually follow through on your promises of shunning our nation, regardless of financial losses or points losses in tournaments for forfeiture.

Bangladesh rejecting to play WC is shocking but understandable. India involved too much politics in cricket after Narendra modi’s decade of anti-Pakistan preaching/hatred/violence.

We are the same country who used to play cricket while the Army was on the border back in 1970s, 1990s and early 2000s.

We should have kept cricket separate from politics but Indians being Indians, if they have atom of influence in cricket world, they will try to use it for political advantage

ICC should have offered matches to Bangladesh in Sri Lanka so that the tournament can be held smoothly

This is a perfect asssessment of the situation.

India is becoming an epicenter of terrorism. Hindutva extremist groups are against Muslims and they want wipe out 140 million Muslims from India. India analyst themselves are saying that india is heading toward religious war support by extremists Hindu groups and their supporters BJP same people who assisted Mr. Mahatma Gandhi.
