You're still foreign to white people, even if they're not born in Canada. Why do you hate immigration? Canada is built on immigration or is it your hate showing for Indians, cuz Trudeau just dump many and didn't do the calculations.
You still haven't adopted to a "Canadian" way of life; you're defending Pakistan all the time, you're on Pakistani defence forum, heck you probably wear your kamis still occasionally,listen to south Asian music, fancy biryani and watch cricket. That sounds more south Asian than Canadian. Not to mention how brown your complexion is!
Regardless, we don't populate enough for us to throw out immigrants. We need immigration, but maybe not all from India, Latin America or just Europe. It needs to be equally racist and sympathetic.
Alberta can join the US anytime they like, they'll be treated as Puerto Ricans, 3rd class citizens. We'll also treat it as second or third class Canadian citizens. ICE doesn't kick out legal immigrants btw.

What gets me is that I have travelled and worked extensively in America and it does not show itself as a modern , well developed or advance country compared to countries like China or Korea ….. not even remotely close .
Poverty and crimes are endemic…. Half the country is not worth living and their middle class neighbourhoods are far worse than the poorest of the poor neighbourhoods in Toronto ….
I really cannot grasp who the **** would wanna join the USA .

This one president is practically undoing the past 40-60 years of effective diplomacy done by America based on order and prosperity for not only west but whole world, and i agree with your assessment below that US will soon realize they can't do everything alone, their strength is in their allies which put them in a better position comparing to other potential super powers like Russia/China. If all these allies start to look for alternatives trading partners and security guarantees then it will significantly weaken US position around the world.
I mean a small weak country lets say Pakistan will see America and its threats to Canada, and think if Canada which has no conflict with US, a neighbor which is one the best neighbor one can hope for is not safe or getting threats and getting humiliated than no one is safe from such behavior. I hope America do a course correction because if not then world will become much more unstable than it already is.

I will tell you 2 facts
Fact 1.) There were 17 wars/conflict Canada Military officially involved in over the last 70 years since WW2, all but 3 were because of Canada's own interest, and that's including one time the Canadian Army was involved in a dispute with the Mohawk People over a golfcourse being build in Mohawk Land back in 1990 and the other time Canadian Navy open fire on a Spanish fishing boat over fishery dispute, and the other one is to suppress Quebec insurgency in the 70s.
Fact 2.) There is only 1 existencial war in Europe currently ongoing, and that is in Ukraine; all NATO countries provided support to Ukraine except for 3, Hungary and Slovakia (both Presidents were Russian-friendly), and the United States.
Almost all wars Canadian forces are involved in are align to US or UN interests.

Not to mention many Canadians joined the US military and fought in Vietnam, and this trend of almost all "American" interest (Kosovo, Iraq (both), and the Korean war are more aligned to American interest instead of the Canadian, which means if people were to force the Canadians to up their defense, the question is what? There are no threats around Canada, if America threatens to invade Canada to have them up the defence, then America will be doing this as Canadian enemies, not as Canadian allies, because it would be the US that threatens Canada.
Canadians do not need to participate in America's war, but the US needs Canadian economic cooperation, especially so now that Trump wants to move manufacturing back to the US. You can't do it without Canadian cheap electricity and Mexican cheap labor.
On the other hand, almost all European NATO allies are following the same path that Canadian took, more or less engage in war that benefit the US and the US Foreign Policy than their own, they can just drop support of Israel and the support of the United States and go neutral and that will drop majority of the Hostilities over them, I mean, can you think of any war Europe was involved that serve their own interest apart from obvious example such as Falkland War? I can't.
And when the only war that threatens Europe, when almost all European jumps in and help Ukraine, the only one that was NOT there is the same person who yell the loudest about how Europe does not care about their security.
