Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Its around 11 months, and Indian Military/AF has still not acknowledge any loss or total losses, kitna maar diya Pakistaniyo ne ke abhi tak nuqsaan ka pata hi laga rahe hai?

Also I demand taking away the emoji's from @Panzerkiel har post pe heart eyes ya thumbs up but still no detail assessment post.

From all available information the Indian armed forces are reviving the Sundarji Plan of the winter of 1986-1987 .

Qanootiyat is a curse find some cure bhai.

its great....we should frequently add more and more items in the discussion so that the shopping list grows rapidly.......
That you can - but keep in mind their fact and fiction meld frequently with the grave danger that it overlaps with actual leadership decisions.

In initial design....may be in later blocks ....it will sit perfectly.
It would need substantial redesign and probably not even a requirement.
You don’t necessarily need your longest ranged systems on VLO assets - what you need is the ability to carry enough so they can get will within the weapon’s No Escape Zone to where the opponent has very little chance of escape.

You need to say launch a PL-15 within 80km without detection and then be able to guide it via another off board sensor.

Imagine their token A-50s or Netra’s being knocked out as soon as they decide to go hot on another misadventure and the panic it causes because now they’re looking not just ahead but potentially behind. Now you have threats on both sides and the chances of fratricidal engagement by them goes up ten folds

Hard to understand, ACM himself was reportedly directly giving orders to the pilots, prioritizing the Rafale kills. There is very little room for confusion as he could have simply told the particular pilot to smoke the particular target which should have resulted in many more Rafale kills out of the 30+ flying that night. All evidence indicates PAF is very upset it let the IAF slip away so this new information may indicate that 'the boss' may be trying to shift the restraint blame to some senior commander instead of himself.....🤔🤔

Even though I am not a big fan of siddu's obsession of self glorification, its borderline cringe, you can't fault him for his arm of the military. 10/10 I would say. I don't know the result or if the process is still ongoing, but goes to show what kinda standards are maintained in PAF. They are not happy with all the havoc they caused in India, they wanted more. maybe "kill them all" literaly meant what one would think.

In the next conflict with PAF, India will paint their planes with PAF roundels and flags so that when PAF shoots them down, as is customary, the Indians will also say, “look we also shot down PAF planes”

Only option left to the IAF. Else the next conflict will be carried out by their army firing missiles into Pakistan while the IAF is grounded again for fear of being blasted out of the sky by PAF.

There is a chatter I heard by Abhijeet Iyer that there was a fatricide by Indians in May.

They have NEVER done that and will never do that. Partly also because it would either confirm actual assets which is a gain for PAF regardless of the facts it discloses.

If I have less aircraft I don’t want my enemy to know just as if I have aircraft still flying I don’t want my enemies to know.
Mr BS Dhanoa agrees with your point, he said that since operation Sindoor is on going why should we let them know how many we have lost

I respectfully disagree. @Panzerkiel and others in the profession should keep everything they possibly can secret - for various reasons. Just my opinion on the matter. If we can figure things out by open source, good. If not, let us continue preparing for the next incident. Open source has already demonstrated that there is nothing to actually doubt regarding the performance of our armed forces in the field, therefore, it is not our side that needs any "proof".
some people think winning troll war on the internet is more important than winning a real war on the ground/air/sea

I am not saying that PAF or ACM did bad, but they could have gone all the way and blasted IAF completely out of the sky. Even now as u said PAF is also not happy with the under whelming result. I am saying whatever PAF achieved, it is on Sidhu. He had made the ROEs and conducted the battle himself. I am also saying that given this hands on approach, it is difficult to believe his direct orders could be misinterpreted. The word 'inquiry' suggests that somehow he was 'less responsible' for what happened and seems that some senior officer is about to be scapegoated. The case was different during Swift Retort. The new normal was even new for the PAF and perhaps the ROEs were outdated as well. This was not the case this time.

@AeronautIR
Any idea about the inquiry thing about less aircraft being downed some members are talking about.
