Pakistan Air Force | News & Discussions

nope, C130H's are struggling!

Not at all. in fact fleet is very well maintained that we can always spare one to paint and send to RIAT every year just for PR and helping Srilanka and Nigeria with their C-130s.

At Chaklala they can pretty much take a C-130 apart, replace anything and put it back together, a look at the active flightline at Nur Khan and Faisal on any day will show you just how available our fleet is.

We have so many engineers on C-130 we can spare some, parts for this plane are like buying spare Honda Civic parts.

Saw this picture and wondered if PAF had done exercises with F22 only on this occasion?
Yes this was the only occasion back in 2009. It involved UAE F-16s & Mirage 2000s, Jordanian F-16s, French Rafales, British Typhoons, American Raptors and Pakistani F-7PGs for the new Air Warfare Center at Al Dhafra AB.

Sidenote - A clip of a Rafale vs Raptor from that timeline :

We have so much Chinese equipment and joint projects this could just be a very routine pick up of spares or orders we already know about. I would really not be surprised if PAF transport planes are in China every other week for some reason or another. The military relationship is so close that we must have many reasons for regular flights
The PAF's Il-78 aircraft are frequently seen at this airport. This is hardly news anymore.
We often see it at Chengdu Shuangliu Airport. This airport is very close to the CAC headquarters, only 10 km away in a straight line.

Don't need to fear Pakistan Air Force anymore like Pakistan army
Look at the level of disrespect toward institutions: the Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, is being served pistachios by an officer of the Pakistan Air Force.
The Pakistan Army did not fall into the filthy gutter alone; it dragged the Pakistan Air Force down with it as well.

Mission is completioned

It is clear the officer is not serving anyone, or just messing around with peanuts, you can make your own mind up. Do me a favour and stop polticising every thread

You keep doing that and and keep dropping the level of Pakistan army in the Air Force. People like you are the reason.

CASA CN-235 and Y-12 are no more in use.

They have been replaced with Beechcraft Super King Air 350.

Yeah, think between the SAAB 2000s, King Airs and C-130s there was a lot f overlap.

Any idea though what was the problem with these birds specifically, as seems we retired them after a relatively short amount if time?
