I am not going to rehash the debate on the use of the atomic bomb on Japan. That has been beaten to death enough. Japan had plenty of opportunity to surrender. The AAF killed more people in the fire bombings of Tokyo than were killed by the atomic bombs.

As I had posted here in other threads; perhaps you all would have preferred the war go into 1946 perhaps even 1947 (plans were drawn up for that contingency) with easily 1M+ additional US casualties and how many more Japanese?

Please don't pretend America is some innocent or beneficent actor on the world stage. In the Mideast alone American coups, dictators, terrorists and direct war itself are the primary destabilizers and killers of the people going back 70 years.

I honestly don’t think so yeah he supports his troops doesn’t mean he has to agree with every dumb decision by the clown that is in office honestly he isn’t a bad guy he doesn’t want to see war as much as anyone else but he supports who he supports at least he’s upfront about it
