I think US will not initiate attack. I could be wrong, but here's reasons why I think US alone won't attack.
1- There's just one CSG in theater. (unless its joined by another one). Though even one CSG can do a lot of damage but its not enough to achieve objectives of destruction of Iranian ballistic missile program or regime change. It surely can degrade or damage missile program but not remove it. It also surely can kill some people in leadership but cannot change regime. So if objectives are not met then its a lost war.
.2- No element of Surprise: Last time the biggest advantage to Israel and later US was that they caught Iran with shock and surprise. Now no such surprises possible. Iran is super ready with "finger on trigger".

However, if attack happens it will be initiated by Israel. We must remember that it was Israel that brought US here at first place. If Israel sees US wants an off ramp despite having a CSG in theater then it WILL not miss the opportunity and will attack Iran first to start the war. Secondly, to get into heads of Israel/US, one must think from all angles / out of box and think about distractions. They can place a carrier here as a distraction while attack preparations are being done from some other side too. The attack from Israel will also come with some element of surprise as Iranians are mostly focused at persian gulf and assuming that is the position where attack can initiate. They will try you to get into talks, distract you and suddenly stab you. You got to understand that mentality by now.
So if ever attack happens it will be initiated by Israel and it will become joint Israel / US operation against Iran. Otherwise US alone won't do it with just one CSG in place.

From our perspective, Israel is a Colonizer because its leaders are East European-originated migrants who invaded the Middle East as Jews. Arabs and Palestinians are really native to the region living under Ottoman Rule for hundreds of years before the Zionists colonized and brutalized the Natives. Why do you Viets side with Colonizers?

How strong is Iran internally? The greatest challenge they face is internal subversion. If Iran can successfully manage these 'moles,' the US will likely be deterred from intervention. If not, their fate is already decided, and the writing is on the wall.

I hope coming war gives Iran the space and chance to wipe out the 5th column who constantly weaken Iran from inside. An IRGC coup/led government should wipe them out once and for all. We need to repeat 1988 by a scale of 10.

If you believe the economic analysts, the fifth column is working with China to cause regime change/power transition. 90% of our oil goes to China. If that is true, what do you think will happen if we eliminate the fifth column?

Which projects did they finish with China?
I thought 5th column (Rouhani) insulted Chinese president by visiting Rome (while knowing Chinese are waiting for him in Tehran).

I think you have hit the nail on the head. If the USA does not attack Iran, then Israel will attack and force the USA into the war to "defend Israel".

The rumors are they have been purging, and continue to purge IRGC/hardliners who wouldn't have agreed to the new regional vision being negotiated.

Then war will give IRGC an opportunity to expand and increase its influence in region and national. I hope they use that in benefit of our national interest.
