Trump says India will buy oil from Venezuela instead of Iran
United States President Donald Trump said on Saturday that India will buy oil from Venezuela instead of Iran, Reuters reported.

“We’ve already made that deal, the concept of the deal,” he told reporters.

The Ministry of External Affairs has not yet commented on the matter.

Trump said that China was also “welcome” to make a deal with the US on purchasing oil.

Saar, pleaaaaseee saar. We’re a baniya country, Trump ji knows better than to threaten us. Insults are acceptable when bundled with cheap oil, jobs, and investment. Threats, suitcases, generals, and mineral handovers to the White House seem to work elsewhere.

Yeah, what a disaster. US is paying Pak for minerals and forcing India to buy expensive oil.

Isn’t it an insult for a neighbouring country to be forced to withdraw from its commitments and abandon a major pipeline project?

Isn’t it equally humiliating for a neighbour to be unable to buy oil next door and instead source it from thousands of miles away from USA?

As for India, it was among the last countries to stop buying oil from Iran, whereas Pakistan was one of the first to do so.

Lecturing or shaming other countries when you couldn’t even stand your ground in the first place is nothing but a joke.

Do you know the specific rates? India has towed the line, I know denying reality is your forte on this forum, but India was buying Russian oil as it was cheap, it has now massively cut back. Those are simple facts, but play around with word gymnastics all you want.

We have the highest tariff by any country with the US and yet we are doing fine. You're the one playing around with word gymnastics. India is defiant without making a fuss.
