Not at all. I see no reason to report something which isn't abusive or malicious. The question is why are you not reporting @Yasser76 - lack of courage? or integrity?

Regards

@r3alist bro

It appears Shrimati Nirmalaji hit the housewives on LPG in the current budget. What happened to the cheap oil from Venezuela and cheap gas from Qatar ? All paid in dollars of course.

The Modi govt, irrespective of who has been the FM, has kept POL prices very high. While it has hit the citizenry of course, it has prevented us from making a periodic beeline to IMF, unlike some distinguished countries in our neighbourhood.
I suppose the coffee and Britannia biscuits at the Coffee De De cafe will cost more for the techie after a 12 hour stint at the BOP office. I doubt if the techie with the perpetual backpack with a 256 GB , 1.4 Ghz knock off laptop cares who runs to the IMF.
Essentially public finances have been prioritised at the expense of private consumption
So why not continue to buy more "cheap Russian oil " with "Asia's worst performing currency " and protect the ghost fleet tankers with the Bhartiya Nau Sena's aircraft carrier?
Isn't that a much better use of the IN assets instead of parking these tubs off the Pakistani coast and risking Kandla getting hit in the next Operation Karwa Chauth ?
Isn't that a good alternative to expensive Venezuelan oil paid for in US Dollars earned through the sweat of the Techie crouched over his workstation?

Ok, coming from a Pakistani, this looks hilarious for me.

India must have got a deal on the oil. INDIA is India first. No defiance needed when it is not warranted. India US will have a greatest deal of the world after the oil supply switch as it provides some face saving to Trump. Russia and Ukraine will be sorted out too. Pakistanis always jump the gun for temporary win without seeing the bigger picture. Later they find themselves as buffoons in the end. Tch. Tch.

Isn’t it an insult for a neighbouring country to be forced to withdraw from its commitments and abandon a major pipeline project?

Isn’t it equally humiliating for a neighbour to be unable to buy oil next door and instead source it from thousands of miles away from USA?

As for India, it was among the last countries to stop buying oil from Iran, whereas Pakistan was one of the first to do so.

Lecturing or shaming other countries when you couldn’t even stand your ground in the first place is nothing but a joke.
Pakistan was never an oil importer of Iranian oil , snuggling aside.

Isn't it an insult to the integrity of your country when your own oil extraction is hostage to regional ethnic provincial politics bordering on insurrection? The rebel ULFA factions have threatened oil refineries and oil well in their demand for an independent Assam state,

Assam is a major, historic oil-producing state in India, accounting for roughly 15% of the nation's crude oil output,
The government of Assam has had eq to invoke the Essential Services Maintenance Act to keep the oil extraction flowing.

Isn't it equally humiliating that the Chahbabar port that India heavily invested in as a terminal to off load Iranian oil to Indian tankers remains non-functional after the sanctions imposed against the sale of Iranian oil ?
Isn't it humiliating that India as a $4 trillion economy nation, the third largest economic and military power cannot protect its interests and energy security.

Everything will change after Nov 2026 ..when Trump lose majority.

India’s Reliance in talks for US permit to buy Venezuelan oil, sources say

Venezuelan oil supplies could help replace some Russian supplies to India, which is under pressure from US President Donald Trump to stop importing Russian oil.

Venezuelan oil supplies could help replace some Russian supplies to India, which is under pressure from US President Donald Trump to stop importing Russian oil.

NEW DELHI/HOUSTON – India’s Reliance Industries is seeking approval from the US to resume purchases of Venezuelan crude, two sources familiar with the matter said on Jan 9, as the private refiner looks to secure oil amid Western pressure on India to cut Russian oil purchases.

Reliance’s representatives are in discussions with the US State and Treasury departments to obtain the authorisation, the sources said, as Washington and Caracas progress in negotiations to ship 50 million barrels of oil in the aftermath of

the US capture of Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro.

The Indian conglomerate had received licences from Washington in past years to import crude from US-sanctioned Venezuela for its refining complex, the world’s largest.

Venezuela’s oil company PDVSA delivered Reliance four crude cargoes, or some 63,000 barrels per day (bpd), in the first four months of 2025 under those authorisations, according to PDVSA’s internal records.

Washington suspended most licences to PDVSA’s business partners between March and April and threatened Venezuela’s oil buyers with tariffs as it increased pressure on Maduro.

Reliance’s last cargo of Venezuelan oil arrived in India in May 2025.
