India - US Tariff and Relations | News + Updates

India agreed to bring down the Indian tariffs on the US exports to India to 0%
If you buy that boast from Trump. I have a bridge to sell you over the East river in Newyork.

But far importantly for you. Indian tarrif rates now undercuts Bangladesh's in both US and Europe(where Bangladesh enjoyed significant tarrif advantage because of being a Least developed country.)

Trump Loves USA more than anyone else. His efforts to make USA great again will be recongnized and go down in history.
More than America, Trump loves his zionist pedo masters and their evil pedo land $hitsreal.

Modi still bent the knee. Only Xi and Putin didn't.

Both Modi and Putin kneeled before the USA.

USA and China are part of G2

"India is subject to an 18 percent tariff rate after a trade deal, which is lower than or equal to most economies in South Asia and ASEAN. By comparison, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Vietnam face tariffs of 20 percent, while Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines are levied 19 percent. Cambodia also faces a higher tariff burden at 19 percent."

The impact of tariffs is now showing.

Tariffs imposed on Indian goods, particularly from the United States, have led to job losses in sectors like textiles, gems and jewelry, and carpets due to reduced exports and production halts
. Experts estimate that hundreds of thousands of jobs are at risk, with specific figures citing around 135,000 job losses in Surat's gem and jewelry industry and potentially 100,000–200,000 in the textile hub of Tiruppur. The impact is felt most severely in labor-intensive, export-dependent industries where a large portion of revenue comes from the US market

I wonder when the impact of newer tariff will show up

So… tariffs crash landed from 50% to 18%. Funny how yesterday this was the end of the Indian economy, the West was tired of subsidising India with trillions, and we were about to be taught a historic lesson. Now I’m guessing the script will flip to 18% doesn’t matter, US still outsmarted India, actually India lost anyway. Predictable cope cycle.

The real masterstroke remains handing over strategic minerals in a suitcase at the White House and calling it trade negotiations. That’s the gold standard, clearly 😂

Does Independent foreign policy mean the US has to give us exactly what we want 😂 you are smarter, need to cope better.
The ones crying are the Russians. Poor old Brezhnev must be rolling in his grave wondering why he sent those Foxtrot class subs and Krivak class Guided Missile destroyers to save Vizag in 1971.

Russia India ties are going good, thanks for your concerns.. We took support without becoming a client state, didn’t hand over ports, bases, or minerals in diplomatic gift bags.
Anyway that's for a different topic.

Is there anything in the deal about agriculture purchase. Trump has not mentioned anything in the tweet.

Would have preferred the deal was signed after the supreme court decision.

Wonder what Putin has to say about this.

No wonder 600 of the 900 odd Mig 21s supplied and collaboration built at HAL crashed killing 200 pilots. The USSR and Russia were pizzed off so supplied defective turbine blades.

If India stops buying weapons from Russis, all Indian goods will be duty free and there will be a visa waiver on Indian passports. How about it?
