SDF/YPG is done. They couldn't recover from this even with the help from the US. PKK sources are furious right now and basically admitting defeat.

As of right now, they are just dormant. Their command structure is still in place in Syria, their operatives from outside of Syria are still their, and they control the civic institutions. Their tunnel infrastructure is still there, their heavy weapons are still there.

Essentially with all that, they are dormant until activated.

We saw this already, they claimed the same BS with Sheikh Maqsood, oh we withdrew, and yet we saw how sheikh maqsood was, they had the tunnels and the weapons and were controlling everything, had their own prisons.

Too early brother, lets see how it plays out. too much still up in the air, we will have a better picture in a few weeks and months.

This is very false, and contrary to the actual facts on the ground. This latest agreement is a national embarrassment and a major win for the YPG/PKK. It can't be described as anything but a serious capitulation by the winning side of the conflict, I'm not sure if I ever seen such a humiliating concession by the side that held all the momentum and advantage.

I've been busy the past week with family emergency, so I haven't updated all the details and events on the Syria civil war thread, I'll try to do that soon with all the actual details and facts that have transpired in the past week. But it's mostly been very negative and discouraging tbh, completely opposite from what I was expecting and hoping for.

If you're interested in the details, please check the Syrian thread there after I post all the developments.

They are not dormant in any way shape or form, they are just as active as they have previously been. This interpretation is far too optimistic and just plain wrong unfortunately.

What I mean by dormant, I mean after they have been "integrated".

Let the US exit with all the Daesh prisoners to Iraq, then we will deal with them with via the Syrian Army if they don't fall in line.
