Turkish Engine Programs

TF3500:

PDR phase completed, transitioned to CDR. 1.5-year detailed design process has begun.

Goal: First prototype tests in 2028-29, aircraft integration in 2029-30.

Process is fast but we must accelerate even further.

It really is. Its Turkey's moon shot. If Turkey breaks this barrier, it will almost if not total complete Air Sovereignty. in terms of the tech atleast to build whatever big or small.

The breakthroughs with the TF35000 would make any engine smaller than it possible, so all turbofans derivatives or fans sharing the same tech. If you scale it up, you can theoretically build bombers even(for example something as big as the B-2 bomber basically uses a derivative of the F110 engine in a 4 engine configuration). At that point, tech will no longer be the constraint as much as money and will.
