Not only your textile industry, even your cotton exports to Bangladesh will be hit significantly as a chunk of the orders will shift to the US. Both of these industries are labor-intensive, employing millions.

I'm not sure how duty-free benefits could be less competitive. Exports destined to the US will be using US cotton to enjoy the duty-free benefits.

Bangladesh will be buying 14 Boeing planes by 2046 as part of the deal.

Biman's masterplan itself recommends buying another 28 planes by 2035, then there are private airlines. 14 seems to be a fraction of the projected demand.

If my understanding is correct any exports to US is duty exempt to the extent that uses US input. For instance, if you are a jewellery manufacture and you import gold from US (to say 70% by value) to that extent its value will not attract any import duty. So, no special favour is being done to BD.

You have opened your farm sector completely to US imports, which is understandable given that you don't have a farm sector worth speaking about.

Not really, you can never get duty-free benefits under traditional arrangements. If you are re-entering a completely US-made product then the tariffs will be "refunded". If you are exporting a finished product that was transformed from an originally US-made material, you will still have to pay the general tariffs imposed on the finished product.

Yes, and I reckon that is another blow for Indian exports to Bangladesh.

You need to understand that india does not only rely on textile exports unlike Bangladesh.
