Ok now this is getting a bit off the rails. We should all be aware that, Trump is doing all this to bring India in line to its demands. They are smart, and they know very well that, if they need to teach a lesson to India, they will use the Pakistan card - because what enrages Indians more than anything related to Pakistan. So Trump or the US has no die hard love for Pakistan but its just that US wants India to do what it wants - its a complicated 3 sided love affair, where we Pakistani are just being used as third wheel. Also this must be very insane of Trump (and I have no doubt about that), but by constantly poking India where it hurts, he really wants India to initiate another skirmish..... and that's a very big possibility soon.

i do not see another skirmish happening for a year more atleast because indians have not fixed alot since the last conflict because the gaps which were exposed are huge

I don't where your getting ur numbers, the most number I've heard is 15 targeted aircraft, TARGETED. 5 rafales and rest the other types. 10 seems to be it considering BVR chances of hit

The money India is spending on the eastern front has a substantial reflection on what it's spending to many many more of these unjammable guided goats for the next conflict.

WT20 is taking place in India right now, a lot of tourists and foreign officials there. A lot of air traffic as teams travel inside India. This complicates our retaliation plans. Also in May it was IPL , so we can't be lazy..

Less than 20, I also know three aircraft were targeted in Punjab sector only 1 was confirmed down. I will still go with 8, POTUS might be briefed about mission kills, those kills could be above 10 but only 8 aircraft were truly shot down

These things are not being read from a paper of from a teleprompter so if he is speaking and a thing comes to his mind wouldn't he pick the closest rounded off number to make his point?
