KABUL BLUSTER — Al-Battar 2,000 lb Laser-Guided Bomb

Al-Battar 2,000 is a heavy precision munition in Pakistan’s guided-weapons family, combining a large blast/fragmentation warhead with laser terminal guidance for accurate effects against fixed, hardened targets.

Key attributes:
Type: Heavy laser-guided glide bomb (approx. 2,000 lb / ~910 kg class)
Warhead: Large high-explosive blast/fragmentation charge optimized for hardened structures, bunkers, aircraft shelters and logistics hubs

Guidance: Semi-active laser seeker for terminal homing; may be supported by inertial/GNSS aids depending on platform integration

Delivery: Air-dropped from manned strike aircraft or integrated with unmanned strike platforms; glide/fins enable controlled standoff release profiles

Intended effects: Deliberate, high-lethality strikes against high-value fixed targets with reduced collateral risk when target is laser-designated at terminal phase

Tactical value: Provides heavy precision strike capability for runway denial, neutralisation of hardened facilities and defeat of concentrated logistics nodes

This French company is offering airburst, 14.5-114 calibre rounds for Soviet/Chinese ZPU AA guns. I wonder if we ought to reverse engineer our ZPUs and produce them at POF along with airburst rounds for anti-UAS purposes.

has POF ever produced airburst rounds or are u saying we should buy and get TOT for them from the french company
Whatever works. Didn't Salman from POF say they were manufacturing ammo for our Oerlikons 35mm guns? Was that AHEAD? Maybe I'm just imagining it.

Yes, I'm not imagining it. He didn't mention which type, though. Let me know if you find out.
