It's not about disappointment. It was about employment errors. So not an issue of the platform itself, rather how one puts it to use.

India has no pathway to F-35 currently. The rest are the same as Rafale. No major enhancement as they are all capped at 4.5 generation so not much else to pick from.

Rafale is a good platform. Had things worked out differently and Pakistan had stayed with the successors of the venerable Mirage III/Vs, perhaps even PAF could have been flying the Rafale today.

It was never 5 rafale. Original number by paf was 3 rafale 1 mig 1 su30 1 m2k for 6 +1 heron drone to equal 7 aircraft shot down. With humint number of rafales claimed rose to 4

The reason why I call you Indian is because you come up with exact same bullsh1t that they all come up with.
Its too clean cut? That part on top of rudder is attached on top of rudder and is not part of rudder structure frame. So if pressure is applied from sides that thing is always going to snap off clean just like what happend with french Rafale few years back.

Focus on the red circle for the wire you were looking for.

Many many many Mig-21s were lost in combat but still they were sold every corner of the world.
The reason why India is buying Rafales is because of corruption, and technical help India will get from France to build India's defence projects. Thats one of the reason why india is paying such high price.
