The Jerusalem Post, one of Israel’s biggest newspapers, has given a platform to far-right British activist Tommy Robinson, despite his long record of anti-Muslim rhetoric and previous condemnation by leading British Jewish organisations.​

Robinson, who was once described by the Board of Deputies of British Jews as a “thug” that represents “the very worst of Britain,” used the platform to argue that Jeffrey Epstein was not ideologically aligned with Zionism or the Israeli state.
In his article, Robinson wrote: “Epstein did not live or behave like someone ideologically committed to the Jewish state. In fact, much of his fascination pointed elsewhere.”
Instead, Robinson suggested Epstein had stronger connections with Saudi Arabia — a country he has recently criticised — and claimed that Epstein’s interests were oriented toward Islam rather than Zionism.
Epstein “expressed admiration for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, showed interest in Islam, and reportedly possessed a cloth from the Kaaba itself” said Robinson.
Robinson’s attempt to distance Epstein from Zionism omits documented connections between Epstein and prominent Israeli figures, as well as ongoing revelations about the convicted sex traffickers ties to Israel.
Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak acknowledged meeting Epstein multiple times after Epstein’s 2008 conviction, including visits to his Manhattan residence.
Recent reporting has also raised fresh questions. As reported by Middle East Monitor, newly released documents indicate that Epstein donated funds to the Israeli army and contributed financially to settlement projects.
Separately, numerous articles have argued that Western media outlets have downplayed or avoided sustained scrutiny of Epstein’s Israeli connections, despite their relevance to understanding his broader web of influence.
Similarly, investigative reporting by Zeteo questioned why major media organisations have been reluctant to explore Epstein’s ties to Israeli political and financial circles, arguing that the issue has been unevenly covered compared to his US connections.
Robinson’s article was met with widespread condemnation and ridicule. Some readers questioned whether it had in fact been written by the far-right activist, citing what they described as inconsistencies in tone and language.
Critics derided Robinson’s effort to downplay Epstein’s Israeli connections, highlighting instead his own well-documented support for the apartheid state.

Another referring to Robinson’s legal name said: “I’m sure Tommy Robinson is aware that Jeffrey Epstein worked for the Rothchilds and in turn worked for Mossad. Lord Rothschild created Israel. This is the lowest Stephen has ever sank,”

The top lawyer at Goldman Sachs, Kathy Ruemmler, has announced that she will resign following revelations of her links to the late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Ruemmler’s resignation comes after the United States Department of Justice’s latest release of investigative files about Epstein showed that she had received gifts from Epstein, offered him advice on managing his reputation, and likened him to an older brother.

Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon confirmed Ruemmler’s resignation in a statement on Thursday, saying that he respected her decision.

“Throughout her tenure, Kathy has been an extraordinary general counsel, and we are grateful for her contributions and sound advice on a wide range of consequential legal matters for the firm,” Solomon said in a statement provided to Al Jazeera.

“As one of the most accomplished professionals in her field, Kathy has also been a mentor and friend to many of our people, and she will be missed,” he said.

In an interview with the Financial Times on Thursday, Ruemmler, who previously served as White House counsel under US President Barack Obama, said that she would step down as chief legal officer and general counsel at the end of June.

Ruemmler told the newspaper that media attention on her relationship with Epstein, who died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, had become a “distraction”.

She had previously expressed regret for knowing Epstein, and denied providing the financier with legal representation or advocating on his behalf to any third party.

If you read this forum, all of us have disdain for UAE rulers and we blame them for many global atrocities including their complicity in Gaza.

UAE also funds an anti Muslim channel here in the UK called GB news. I surmise it is in their interests to go after Muslim diaspora because they prefer a more docile and non-political Islamic community that won't challenge their thrones (they fear a caliphate that will essentially end their kingdoms)....

They use religion to manipulate their citizens. For example, there is an ideology we call Madkhalism is "a strain of the Salafi movement within Sunni Islam, named after the Saudi scholar Rabee al-Madkhali. It is characterized by absolute obedience to Muslim rulers (even if they are unjust or corrupt) and a strong opposition to political activism...."

This ideology has only emerged recently and unfortunately it's keeping their citizens quiet......it is the complete opposite of traditional Islamic exegesis. For example, this is the opening of the inauguration speech of the first Caliph
