So me asking what has IK done for the populace that elected him makes me a fauji propagandist ?
The populace has repeatedly re-elected Mr Khan and PTI and your repeated refusal to acknowledge this and instead fling mud reminds me of a <censored> jernail who does weekly press conference in which he talks about all subjects but the military.

Those foreign relations do become important when it comes time to get oil on deferred payments and add a few billion dollars into foreign reserves to keep default at bay.
That is the natural result of state policies which for decades neglects the development of the country and instead focuses on rent-seeking from foreign patrons. These state policies are made by sellouts from Kakul and Pakistan Civil Services Academy.

all the 'martyrdom' blah blah

... should be rewarded with giving them what they wish - regardless of who they might be.

Anybody want martyrdom? Grant them their wish immediately!

It will solve a lot of problems for Pakistan. Seriously.

Kana Dajjal! Thank you @mythbuster for making the connection! Hahaha!!

@F.O.X : You have a better brain than me on economy. I'd appreciate you enlighten the cultists about the dire consequences for Pakistan's economy if Mr. Kana Dajjal had continued to alienate Saudi Arabia, China and the United States, and by EU/American allies by extension. I think you may have heard of why Saudi Arabia withdrew their private jet for the Kana Dajjal when the KD couldn't keep his mouth shut on the flight to America. What a stupid 'leader'!!

And it was the same for IK tenure as well. He went to IMF to beg just the same as NS/Abbasi before him, and SS after him.

Yes, GDP touched around 6%, but that was a post COVID rebound with heavy stimulus and record remittances. It wasn’t export led or sustainable. During that same period, the current account deficit blew up to around USD 17bn, reserves fell, and the rupee came under pressure. If growth immediately leads to an external crisis, it’s not strong fundamentals, it’s overheating. Sustainable growth is measured by exports, reserves, and stability, not just one headline number.

Winning elections doesn’t automatically prove economic transformation. After 14 years, KP is still heavily dependent on federal transfers, has limited industrial growth, weak export contribution, and repeated financial crises in universities and hospitals. NFC affects fiscal space, sure, but structural reforms, revenue generation, and governance quality are provincial responsibilities. Votes are political validation, not economic proof.
OK, So you want to get to the brasstacks of economic performance of IK's first tenure with PDM's both terms combined. Here we go ...

What? Don't believe it ... here is the link
But that's half of the picture, let's see what was happening on export side during the golden era of PMLN 2013-2018. It will allow us to see things in prespective. So, In 2013, when PMLN regime under Waddy Mian Sahib took over, exports were 30 billion USD mark.1770996373053.png
And when PMLN concluded its golden era of unprecedented economic performance, magically exports fell (actual -ve growth) by a billion USD. And it is not that, it was only the case for 2018. It remains below 31 billion through out this golden age. In fact by 2016, Pakistan had lost 4 billion USD market and exports contraction happened around 27 billion USD.
1770996558510.pngThen Mian Sahib was removed from office by those who had installed him in the first place and exports began to recover somewhat but it could never reach the initial figure of 31 billion USD of 2013. So what does this tell us?
1770996618432.png
Despite having no clamity like COVID which forced shutdown the entire global markets and line of communications, exports actually declined during the golden 5 years of PMLN.
Now, I have already posted what happened till 2022 and then again what happened in 2023 when genius in GHQ (BAJWA) decided to tinker with political stability in the country. And 3 years after that when actual Tajurba Kaar of PMLN like Showbaaz and Ishaq Dollar installed, the story went from bad to ugly as far as the economy is concerned and today we are begging UAE and China for rollover and are even eager to erase this line from Pakistani passport.

In the end, I don't know if you are a **** or a Patwari or both .... whatever is the case, Yaar aap log na, Bushra Bibi ke jado tak raho, Economy waghera is too much for you guys.
جذباتی نہیں ہونا۔۔۔

It's not cool to make fun of someone's disability. It maybe some fashionable joke in the western world but not in Asian culture.

Just because I gave you laqab of badtehzeeb, it doesn't mean you go and live it to the fullest definition.

Mr. Kana Dajjal! Mr. Kana Dajjal! Mr. Kana Dajjal!

I don't believe he is losing eye sight--accuse me of Badtehzeeb when the eye sight claim is proven. Wait till he gets to London--miracles happen all the time.

I have been there, Currently still am there , condition of hospitals is miserable. corruption in police is on record high.

Good, go and ask them why they vote for PTI. Condition of hospitals are bad all over
Pakistan, the less said about the rishwat khor Police the better.

well it takes time to dig out of a hole the Pakistani state has been digging for 70 years right ? Whether it's Mr Khan or anybody else, in the short term that is what has to be done. In the long term if you have civilians in charge who actually live in the real world, rather than cocooned in cantonments or sarkari housing societies, then Pakistan may slowly emerge from these debt traps.

He ain't going anywhere and you don't have to prove that you are a bigger man-child than him.

Agreed. And IK's tenure, economically speaking, was no different than any of the others. The same. And it is the same even now.

Visit Pakistan and people say their economic situation is worse than Mr Khan's tenure. The poor economic data and govt manipulation of stock market and FDI reserves confirms this.

I do concede that PTI or Imran Khan could not have performed any overnight economic miracles in their few years of power. The inertia of the past many decades is there, all the structural problems in Pakistani society are there as well. He caught a small break when covid caused the price of oil to crater, reducing the energy import bill and opening up some room in the budget. Getting out of the economic morass of Pakistan is a long term undertaking and so far I see nobody really up to the task.

is he in power ?
Yes, why isn't he in power?
ohh & you guys dont even accept the election results unless they are in your own favor similar to PPP & PMLN.

1- You really think this election was anything resembling an election? I mean sure, elections have always been somewhat managed, but if you are gonna compare what's gone on in the recent past with this is just dishonesty at best.
2- 2013 elections were largely fair (or at least as fair as we can get, so were 2018). The latest one was brazen robbery and if you cannot really see it then you need to take the khaki colored glasses off.
