I do concede that PTI or Imran Khan could not have performed any overnight economic miracles in their few years of power. The inertia of the past many decades is there, all the structural problems in Pakistani society are there as well

I agree with that: People want quick results and expected the same with Imran. My almost entire family in Karachi voted for Imran and I too would have voted for him in 2018 if I were in Pakistan but the family started to complain about the inflation, the bad economy blah blah and I used to caution them that things take time--something like what you are saying.

But where I disagree with Imran supporters is that Imran was too stubborn, too arrogant, too stupid to listen to the many sincere advice given to him while he was the PM of Pakistan. People often bring up his Usman Buzdar as the choice for the CM of Punjab and for sticking with Buzdar despite many sincere advice against, but that's just the tip of an iceberg, a window to the 'brain', or lackofthereof, about Imran. Sincerity, lack of personal corruption, piety just doesn't cut it in a country like Pakistan; had it so then there are probably 50,000 mosque Imams who could qualify!

Imran, Nawaz and Altaf are temperamentally not suited to be in any 'leadership' role for a country like Pakistan due to their severe personality disorders and all three have been sidelined and Good Riddance!

Already happened. It is better to make peace with the situation for Mr. Kana Dajjal!
No it did not happen. He did not lose an election. Aisa straight up jhoot aur ghalat baat kaisay kar lete ho? At least be honest with yourself.

You guys ruin your own case with these outlandish statements which are basically an insult to intelligence.

If you say IK isn't a good economic policy maker, not a good statesman, not a visionary, whatever the heck, I'd agree with it completely even.

But you think if someone doesn't like anything, and you can root out your political and justice system and then jail someone on a completely sham case, then expect keh everyone tags along with that, and you can label everyone as a 'cU!t', that just exposes your own narrow thinking.

Looks like Ik has been slow poisoned that is why nobody could meet him for 3 months.
They don't even give his children visa's to come and visit him.

Now that the poison is causing him problems they will tell him to go and get treatment
out of the Country. Once he is out of the Country they are hoping the poison finishes
him off there so they don't get the blame.

If he does survive it, they won't let him back into the country. He will be turned into a
Mota Nawaja, Altaf Hussain and Tahir Ul Qadri, after that no other bloody civilian will
rise up against them.

Muneer think of himself as Sissi and he got the same level of outside support. Remember what MBZ said about the most dangerous Muslim countries to west in his conversation with Nicolas Burns as revealed by WikiLeaks, in terms of resurgence of political Islam. Egypt, Saudi and Pakistan.

Its the same template.

They cannot and will not allow him out of the country. He is too well known and too well connected in London and has enough support in Washington, the two capitals the Establishment cares about the most besides Riyadh and Beijing. He can create too many problems for them abroad.

House arrest or jail are his options with treatment from foreign doctors flown in, if necessary.

They have already offered him to go out of the Country but he didn't go, so they
decided to slow poison him. Now they want him out and they think he will die out
of the Country.

They want him out of politics at all costs, only Allah knows what the future holds.
For now he needs immediate treatment.

Very close sources to the establishment informed me Asim Munir himself is behind damaging Imran Khan's right eye. He knew and he is monitoring and ordering everything against Khan.

@SoulSpokesman : You Indians have a soft spot for Imran because he is wittingly or unwitingly doing India's work but you would be wrong to assume that Imran's prison conditions are bad--on the contrary--and that's because the state of Pakistan knows that any harm to Imran would be very bad. So he's protected to an extent like Benazir, Zardari , Musharraf, and Nawaz were protected; Pakistan had learned from ZAB's execution not to go for physical harm to top leadership.
This video doesn't have English captions but those who know Urdu language, should be able to see Imran's prison conditions are not bad at all and there are multiple corroborating accounts. Some say Imran is even allowed to meet his wife quite often.

The vision loss is another Imran attempt to 'stay relevant' as all else has failed or some engineered way to give him the exit as given to others before. A remote chance is that he does have some vision loss but then he is an old man and such things are possible!

Visit Pakistan and people say their economic situation is worse than Mr Khan's tenure. The poor economic data and govt manipulation of stock market and FDI reserves confirms this.

That is true I believe. The people are steadily getting poorer and poorer under every government, no matter how rosy the pictures painted. That is just the reality of a country that consumes more than it produces.

I do concede that PTI or Imran Khan could not have performed any overnight economic miracles in their few years of power.

Agreed. If there is anything to be upset about, it is not that IK and his team failed to improve the economy. It is that they all LIED to the people that they would improve it, with corruption ending in 90 days and no IMF, for example.

Getting out of the economic morass of Pakistan is a long term undertaking and so far I see nobody really up to the task.

And nobody will, for a long time to come. The system is designed to keep working like it is, to benefit only a few and screws all the rest. That is the sad reality and ALL governments lie to the people that they will somehow deliver a miracle.

And only fools believe them. Some choose to believe IK's lies, some believe NS/SS's lies, and some believe a chosen dictator's lies. They are all fools. 100%.
