Pakistan International Arlines (PIA) : News / Updates

Boeing 720-040B, PIA "Pakistan International Airlines", registration no. (1962): AP-AMJ. The picture is taken from the Airport's roof observation deck - Dacca, 1962-68.

This could be the connecting flight to Karachi for the inaugural flight Karachi- London PK-705 (reg. AP-AMH) which crashed in Cairo (1965).

PIA Boeing 747 with airline's Ispahani wide-body aircraft maintenance hangar at Karachi Airport.

Hangar foundation stone was laid on September 20, 1977. The construction work was completed in 45 months and the hangar was inaugurated on June 27, 1981.
