Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Because the reality is Pakistan has shit economy to back a prolonged war. It's barely getting by as it is without war...u think it can sustain a long term war with an enemy who has deep pockets? Small skirmishes and winning an advantage in a limited scope is the best that anyone could hope for given the current circumstances.

if we go by what u say is our poor economy.........to phir skirmish jeetne ki b kya zarorat hai ? Just surrender for Money/economy ? Phir itni fauj paalne ki kya tuk hai agar lar nahi sakte ya himmat nahi hai, paise nahi hain ??
imagine if india actually does this plan........then what option? Surrender ??

who plundered the economy all these decades then??

well yes those are all the huge holes in Pakistani defense strategies which noone wants to address. The country cannot fight a war beyond a few weeks.

Mr. Parvin Swahiney, argues Ind. should look for peace. But, this time he has come out openly and has demarcated, 'the duration of peace', which should last around 15 years only!

he thinks, 15 years should be enough for India, to accumulate enough GDP and wealth to off set Pak. defences, regardless of Chinese influence in the region.

He also says, bargaining for peace is also a vital tool for war and should be used for war

Pak. cannot be trusted, so, instead of forcing war on Pak., we should avoid losses for now and should look for peace, until such time, we can manage them without much losses. Once Pak. is gone, dealing China wont be a problem!

never in a million years, could I have imagined, that he had a liking for desi moonshine

Yes, but neither GHQ or PAF can now ignore the manufacturing issue given the volume of missiles that India is ordering for the next round.

They will need to review these procurements, and fix the manufacturing issues given that they don't have the coffers to buy on mass as India can ?
Hopefully that is the case. But they can't fix the manufacturing issue near term unless Pakistan has the manufacturing base. Otherwise it will not be scalable or economical.

The last system is the interesting bit - but at the end they have realized they have no solution to the BVR issue regardless of "harping" on R-37. So best is to stick to stand off saturation attacks which are a big concern because with the likes of Rampage it is more difficult to spoof and intercept.

It is very likely that IAF wont engage in air combat at all in its next conflict and will stay will back relying on an even more saturated AD and spamming missiles in the air
Seems like they have made up their mind not to take on PAF head-on. They will employ their jets like artillery guns and toss rampage, scalps, spice, brahamos etc far away from border

They will still try to do so - they may try to use the S-400s to launch at PAF fighters en masse perhaps. You don't have to kill the fighters with the SAMs - you have to effectively push them away or in combo use the S-400s to make the PAF fighters spend energy in defensive maneuvers from where you match the distance between PL-15 envelope and Meteor or even derby envelope to try and achieve a kill.

The Pakistanis themselves plundered the economy...or more specifically the corrupt leaders(those in power did)...this includes political leaders, bureaucrats, judges, army, etc. Anyone who had a chance in whatever capacity looted with both hands...u would be hard pressed to find an honest man who put the country first and kept his own greed in check.
...and the rest of the ppl are complicit for having played their part. They kept voting for these looters instead of making an example out of them. All for nonsense reasons too like ethnicity or bcuz they did some work locally(like building roads) just before the election...or even worse just because they were given a cushy job in some government entity(PIA, PTCL, Steel Mills) regardless of their qualifications or need at that place.

As for ur argument of giving up on Kashmir and winding down the military...
...there's a vast space between overestimating urself and thinking u can go on an all out offensive against an economy much bigger than u and sustain that war effort as if u r a superpower...
...and giving up entirely and disbanding the military.

Both are fanatical extremes of the imagination when it comes to military/economic capabilities more in the realm of imagination than reality. Idk about u...but I like to live in the reality and neither of those are realistic options for Pakistan.

Coming back to reality, what needs to be done is for Pakistan to massively improve its economy and continue making strategic choices(like its defense pact with KSA and possibly Turkey). Use the relations with these nations, China, and other such countries to improve trade. Export more ..more services, manpower, products.

Simultaneously push for less corruption. People should be outraged and protest if they must to make sure corruption is punished rather than the perpetrator getting away with it. It creates the wrong precedent when corruption isn't punished. It kills the chances of any prosperity. India WILL always have a bigger economic might(and therefore a bigger military might) to bring against Pakistan even with all their problems including corruption just because of their sheer size and population. This means Pakistan/Pakistanis HAVE to work extra hard IF they ever hope to do what you were wanting in the post I had quoted initially.
