Come to think again, the presence of Russian and Chinese Naval Ships also means it's hard for Iran to completely mine the Hormuz Strait for fear of blowing up Russian and Chinese tankers in case war breaks out.

What purpose the ships there play? Just a few Russian and Chinese ships present in Hormuz alone can't deter the US from launching the war...

Maybe they are there to check the US to warn US not to use tactical nukes on Iran if Iran successfully sank a USN carrier during war? "Open Pandora's Box and we might join the war and suddenly start firing on you too and moving against both Scandinavia and Taiwan" , says Russia and China?

Ofcourse, almost 2 months massive bombardments killed 600 Houthi fighters and 230 civilians according to western estimates.
12 days war cost Iran 1060 lives. Roughly 20-90 Iranians will be martyred a day.

The battle will be intense in the first 2-4 weeks. If Iran goes through the first weeks and targets sensitive military and energy infrastructure in the region and widens the geography of the war and feeds some persian gulf sharks with US terrorist meat, then US will be in big trouble.

All the ports and logistical infrastructure in Persian Gulf should be destroyed.

Agree with you I think the short term is in Americas favor even if Iran inflicts heavy casualties but Iran being destroyed is also a big likelihood trump can’t win a full out war unless he drags every country in the world to put 2 million ground troops in Iran and even than it wouldn’t be sustainable for long term.

Is it me though I would love to see shah wannabe back his words up and arrive in Teheran………:I don’t think he would make it off the tarmac

Yes....it's really a unprecedent situation, this is something unique since WWII. Think about it, we have China on the rise, we have BRICs, we have a war in Europe raging for 4 yrs. We have the Gaza situation where 2 mill people are basically homeless and dispossessed. This is a lot of different vectors coming at the world at the same time. The US, the world's other superpower is at a crossroads too, they're being pulled into a war by a president that was a TV show host......more scary is that he has surrounded himself with dumb people like himself.....which makes for a very bad situation since there are no counterweights to his stupid moves.
The American people don't care about Iran, they don't want a war....this is just the cabinet and Congress that Israel has bankrolled. I keep emphasising we shouldn't even attack American bases....we should go after Israel with everything if war breaks out.
