Yes....it's really a unprecedent situation, this is something unique since WWII. Think about it, we have China on the rise, we have BRICs, we have a war in Europe raging for 4 yrs. We have the Gaza situation where 2 mill people are basically homeless and dispossessed. This is a lot of different vectors coming at the world at the same time. The US, the world's other superpower is at a crossroads too, they're being pulled into a war by a president that was a TV show host......more scary is that he has surrounded himself with dumb people like himself.....which makes for a very bad situation since there are no counterweights to his stupid moves.

It is clear that Arab nations have already agreed to a full scale invasion operation to destroy Iran.
This differs from the Yemen bombing campaign, which had to rely on aircraft carriers because cooperation from Saudi Arabia and others could not be secured.
This time, F-22, E-3, and aerial refueling aircraft are gathering from around the world.
These can only be deployed from bases in Gulf nations, meaning Saudi Arabia and the UAE have already explicitly agreed to bombing Iran.

Negotiations are merely a trap to keep Iran off guard and defenseless until preparations are complete. The mere hint of an aircraft carrier's presence is itself a form of deception.
In reality, the US military will attack from Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and Kuwait. Israel will naturally join in as well. The situation has deteriorated far beyond initial expectations.

There is no way you build up this much force just for negotiating or later withdrawl. Unfortunately I believe there will be a conflict , to what level is the question. Personally I think the US will attack Iran nuke and ballistic missile targets on land and the rest will focused on Iranian naval assets at sea.
