Thats the thing, Little old Qatar, has possibly one of the biggest Strategic Lift Capabilities in the region. with 8 C-17s Strategic Airlifts. And from what I have seen, Its basically being used by Turkey as a second Strategic Airlift capability, as they have been moving a lot of Turkish equipment and personel around the region, whether Libya, Syria, Sudan or Somalia, as part of the Turkey Qatar strategic alliance.

If we are going to support allies, we need much more and more logistic airplane like the A400M.

The acquisition A400 is really the only realistic option, maybe buy some second hand from Spain, they are trying to cut down their fleet.

No other option in the west that can lift as much, and not worth buying a new platform unless its a significant upgrade over the A400.

Turkey had a deal to coproduce with Ukraine before the war, it could be revived in the future as a joint project, either with Ukraine or other countries. I think a Turkey, Saudi, Indonesian and consortium collaboration on a codevelopment of a Strategic airlift aircraft is viable, with British Rolls Royce engines.

They were actively cheering on the PKK against Turkey, calling Turkey ISIS/Jihadi for fighting the PKK, even after Assad was gone, they cheered on the Druze separatists and the PKK. It wasn't until July of last year that some of them actually began to realize their foolishness, when the insurgency in Iran after the Israeli strikes picked up.
