Pakistan not among 5 nations announced to have committed troops for International Stabilisation Force in Gaza

Guys, you cannot win this argument because you’re standing on the wrong side of history. So please, let’s talk about the so-called “Board of Peace.” That’s the real issue here. This whole discussion was started to control the damage, but honestly, the people who started it have already lost the argument. They’ve completely failed to cover for their masters, and everyone can see it.

You are completely wrong. We are not saying that IK is the solution to everything. We are saying that those who stand in support of injustice are the real problem facing our nation. They can see what’s happening in Pakistan. The rightful leader is in prison, and those who were rejected are ruling unjustly. They are so blinded that even the blood of their own people brings them no shame.
Our duty is to speak the truth. If you hide your disease, you are only fooling yourself.
If your duty is to speak the truth then also speak the truth about the fact that some of what goes on in Pakistan is also good. Not all of it is bad. You pile on the misery at the expense of your country for your politics. So this "truth" clearly escapes you because it does not fit your political narrative. All I see from a certain quarter is constant negativity about all things denigrating their very own country.

This to me is tiresome.

I am not here pounding on IK to put him down. If he were to become PM again, I'd support him for the sake of Pakistan. It is as simple as that. For me, Pakistan's interests are supreme, individuals are transitory.

Coming back to this topic, Pakistan is not on the hook to provide troops in Gaza. Great news! We should all celebrate that we avoided a major problem/"bohran" for Pakistan.

Without EXCEPTION, each and every Pakistani should be pleased with this, yet even then the PTI base here could not stop their venting and vitriol. This is the issue on hand.

You cannot even be happy for Pakistan when it serves the interests of our country. This to me is beyond politics.

So you’re accepting that at least 90% of this is the truth. Good. Let me give you some advice: never stand with injustice just because you have to earn your living. Yes, if you’re being fed by your masters, that’s your choice, and you have the right to defend them. But at least be honest about who is paying you and remember who you’re hurting: your own fellow Pakistanis. 🤪

I am not the one childishly disliking posts, am I? :D

Let us remain on the topic, and not the person.

The fact that Pakistan has done well internationally without IK's sunshine is the real nerve that has struck his cult the hardest. (The remittances that keep flowing is another.)

Indeed. Dodging a bullet while appearing to take that.
Well played, Pakistan!!

Let me tell you the truth. Your current prime minister had only 17 seats.
Let me tell you another truth: the man who is leading the army had already been retired the day before he got promoted.
Let me tell you the truth: the man who was supposed to become army chief was killed in a helicopter crash.
Let me tell you the truth: there was a cipher that came from America.
Let me tell you the truth: his election symbol was taken away just a week before the election.
Let me tell you the truth: he contested elections on seven seats and won six of them.
Let me tell you another truth: he fought the election almost single-handedly, without a party and without an election symbol.
Let me tell you the truth: there were two assassination attempts on him.
Let me tell you the truth: he lost his eyesight in prison under the watch of your masters.
Let me tell you the truth: they did not allow him to meet his doctors.
So please don’t give me lectures about morality. This is the truth you are denying.

Dodging a bullet is great. But the real bomb to avoid is still the moribund economy. Pakistan is not out of the woods yet by any stretch of the imagination, so let us remain grounded in reality.

The situation in the Middle East and how Pakistan handles it has a direct bearing on how generously benefactor countries in the region will behave toward shoring up Pakistan's shaky finances.

This participation can only help.

Tiresome? They only getting started. It is a brilliant project. Introduce a demigod to a society that has a proven record of hero worship with absolute no opposition, you will have a perfect agent of chaos. All ingredients are there.

The Ashraafia and their tea party plan backfired gloriously and the country has to pay the price. People are now hooked on the cocaine and cannot be weened of it.

On Topic: What are the pros and cons of sending troops? It seems a portion of society wants continued chaos in Palestine.

Everyone here knows the dire economy of Pakistan. But if you saw a Dawn.com main article today, even IMF is praising the 'stability'. Much to be done. Much more. At least not defaulted, unlike the wishes of some here--their posts should be still there to read from 2022 onward.
Coming back to this topic: If Pakistan had sat it out, then it would look bad not only to Trump but also to Pakistan's key military/economic allies who are part of the Board of Peace. So while even I think PM Shahbaz needs to cut brief his adulation of Trump, he has played well; just look at Indian channels making fun of him for the adulation of Trump--like the Cultists here.

Politics makes strange bedfellows; geopolitics makes weird bedfellows!

like the Cultists here.

Why blame the simpletons? The projection of Sadaqat and Amanat of Mr. Niazi vs proven corrupt record of his opponents. The society has a fetish for messianism, hero worship and utter belief that some are martial while others are not.

Sending soldiers under the so-called Board of Peace without the consent of the Pakistani people would be a grave, grave mistake.

Standing under tyrants command and calling it “what the economy needs, while selling Palestinian blood for money honestly, you guys never disappoint me.

I think globalization is leading Pakistanis to better civic sense, feminism, more tolerance of religious minorities, gay rights, environmental awareness etc etc. Similarly, the so-called 'Martial' race blah blah is also being reduced.

The value of the 'Chiragh' is only that he can blackmail the Pakistani nation over the events in K-P province, especially WRT to terrorism there. Even there he polled only 36% in the last elections. The twitter or the PDF noises don't impress me much. But then the news analysts and the tv anchors have to have some hot topic to talk about and what's more juicy than the Caliph of the Riyasat e Medina!

was talking about that uk minister qoute, thats just bullocks

And how did you come to that conclusion?
Why Pakistan should cater to a zionist demand where its own soldiers become pawns and hostages to the one who controls the access?
Just sit back and relax... read or watch the proposals BoP makes for the waterfront Riviera.

How petty of this Indian channel to try to belittle the Pakistani Prime Minister's few second appearance in this 8+ minute long video and still omitting the part where President Trump mentioned '11 jets' downed.
