You cannot “deal” with the Kurds. Turkey has been trying for decades with the best military equipment they can buy.

The best way to deal with militants is to remove the incentive for someone to become a militant in the first place.

Places like Baluchistan, Kurdistan, Ahvaz are very poor and haven’t been economically developed going back to even the Shah era. People living in poverty and squalor are more likely to be radicalized or to pick up arms.

The best way to kill off the movement of militants is to lift people out of poverty alongside every targeted military action.

If Israel cannot eliminate Hamas miltants out of a postage stamp size piece of land, then Iran cannot eliminate Kurdistan terrorists out of the mountainous terrain either. You will be playing wack a mole for decades and end up right where you started.

The key to dealing with the Kurdish terror groups is to remove their safe haven in KRG. But Turkey won’t because KRG oil goes to Israel through Turkish port of Ceyhan.

PJAK/PKK is Kurmanji and they the biggest armed faction fighting Iran. but they are operating out of Sulamaniyyah under the protection of the PUK, b/c of inter Kurdish rivalries, KDP won't allow PKK to get a foothold in the Kurmanji heartland in Erbil, the KDP and PUK are also rivals, so the Sorani Kurds in the PUK prop up the Kurmanji PKK and offer them cover and an element to support in inter kurmanji politics.

You know my opinion about the Islamic Republic, I guess. The Islamic Republic would never do something that aligns with the national interests of Iran. If anything, the IR is benefitting from the threats of separatists in Iran, pretending that they are not tearing us apart because of the mighty IRGC. Why would they finish them off if they are using them for PR?

The Oil that the Israelis are taking is Azeri oil, not Iraqi oil. The Iraqi oil that goes to Turkey is under the agreement between Turkey and Iraq, if you have an issue, take it up with Baghdad, they are the ones who export it.

The KDP has been mixing Syrian oil with the Iraq oil in the same pipeline, so this isn't a Turkey issue, vis a vis Iran. Turkey itself has issues with that oil, and at times turned it off, to cut off the revenue to PKK aligned smugglers.

The IRGC have tremendous influence in Suleymaniyeh. We have spies in Kurdish parties. We have successfully recorded their sessions behind closed doors many times. The threat of Erbil is of a different nature because Iran lacks proper intelligence tools there and Israel is quite active.

Its a bit late now, but it should have been done years ago.

Because the Islamic Republic is an incompetent regime that prioritizes Arab militias over our own national interests.

They have been fencing our border with the Taliban recently and it has had some progress. I think they should do the same in our Western borders too.
