Well, if you think you understand the Iranian society better than an Iranian, then it's your right to think so. But you seemed curious and I shared with you why these things are happening in Iran.

The system hasn't collapsed yet because Iranians hoped that the Islamic Republic would change slowly over time. The Islamic Republic created a bi-partisan system where reformists were supposed to provide an alternative to the current policies. Yet, the reformists turned out to follow exactly similar policies, only leaning towards Europe.

The reformists lean towards Europe and the US, the conservatives lean towards Russia and China. Both of them have exactly the same core policies that the people do not want.

Now after 4 decades, people are completely fed up with the situation and the new generation is even more anti-regime than ever.

I could never by default and let me disengage from discussion, also thank you for your time and effort trying to clarify your positions for me, although i disagree with lot of it i appreciate courtesy.

If Iranians want to unite with Israel and the US against them, nothing would remain of these Shiite fools in Pakistan. They are the ones who should be scared.

First of all, as a Shiite Muslim, the moment we Iranians abandon you, you're over. So, it is you who should be very careful about the choice you make. At the end of the day, Iranians are your one and only real friend and you don't want to lose them.

Secondly, you guys are super slow when it comes to developments. Jews and the United States are going to be dominant for the foreseeable future and with the advance of AI, social media and technology, the role of religion is getting less and less important in people's lives. Heck, I have talked to Pakistanis who were agnostic many times. You think Islam is growing, but the truth is that the number of truly religious people is shrinking in the world and religion is becoming less important in people's lives. Besides that, even in a future China-dominated world, Islam will not be dominant because China is not into Abrahamic religions at all.

Yet, you still think examples from 14 centuries ago or the Crusades are still relevant. That's absurd.

They claim there are 90 million Muslims in Iran.
If you read the demographics of Iran, they claim 99% of Iranians are Muslims. The same holds true for many Islamic societies. And all of these numbers are totally absurd and false.

There might be 2 billion people born as Muslims in the world, but definitely not 2 billion practicing Muslims.

religiosity needs to take a back seat in all muslim countries, we all have had enough!

And once again we see people in this forum talking about totally irrelevant stuff.

There are nearly 1 million university students in Iran, so not even 1% are protesting....and again some are acting like there is a major crisis going on.

I have given up hope. I always think that people in this forum are the most knowledgeble people in the internet, but everytime something happens I realise that's not true.

I don't understand why you spend so much time in the internet when in the end you are just as wise as people who have Zero interest in politics....

I have noted, all the clergy men, want Quran (this relation, is not other wise!)

for instance, Quran says, dont give sadqa to Syed family.
