Iran is gaining time. taking leaf from Battle of Trench, they have amassed forces outside the border.and wait yes Amr ibn Abd al-Wud will cross but in greater scheme of things. Iranians will prevail and amassed forces will tire out, and they will start to have doubts and disagreement.
all Iran needs to do is bunker down and ride it out this extreme tension time.
as matter of fact i remember Sardar interview while explaining 2006 battle he refer to this tactic suggested by Supreme leader.

That could be a psychological. Perhaps that official wants the Iranians to let their guard down.
Truth is, the Trump administration - as instructed by Netanyahu- wants Iran to capitulate. So, if Iran sticks to its guns, either Trump has to give in and withdraw his armada or declare war. There is nothing else that can satisfy the war criminal named Netanyahu and the deep state.

You know what pisses me off the most?
The sheer indifference to Iranian lives by the regime.
The US is preparing to pound Iran for possibly weeks, most certainly with the participation of Israel as well, and yet the Municipality of Tehran and other major cities have not prepared themselves for the war. Not even a single bunker has been constructed after 9 months from the June war with Israel.
They simply do not care about Iranian lives. Their actions have put the lives of thousands of Iranians at risk here, if not more, and yet they act like everything's fine.
