Pakistani government has so far claimed to only target Pakistani terrorists(TTP/BLA) and a common enemy in ISIL. A conflict with the interim Afghan government has not been made public. Furthermore the detoriating abject human suffering in Afghanistan and the already complex humanitarian issue would result in another debacle for bordering terrorities.

What we need to do is cripple the taliban leadership, cripple their entire training and weapons network.

And allow NRF to take on the ground offensive while Pakistan gives limited support to the group.
