Operation Ghazab Lil Haq (Pakistan - Afghanistan War)

Pakistan should probably start communicating to the world very firm and non-negotiable terms for any truce.

They have asked for diplomacy and to be reasonable, so the world should see what they are unwilling to accept.

This should go on for many months.

If taliban are pushing for a ceasefire then they still have something to lose.

Pakistan needs to get them to the point where they have nothing left and will surrender along with TTP and BLA.

They are not responding positively since these Takfiris cannot commit to stopping TTP/BLA from attacking Pakistan for good. Most of the interlocutors like Qatar, Turkey know what is going on. They wouldn't want these bastards on their borders stirring up takfiri fassadi fitna either.

I agree with this......

Few high impact & profile strikes on Afgandus for now will suffice. Create a 10km buffer zone and secure the border.
They're asking for dialogue so let's take that and give an ultimatum.

Then focus on the sanghis to the east as it's about to kick off in Iran

Yes, i am also unable to understand the logic behind this attack ....job can easily be done using drones. Why all out war....make no sense to me. Turkish are right, because Israel has long plan, if they successful in Iran, next topple Tayyip Erdogan and Pakistan nuclear asset will be a final call.

Just get that noor wali mehsud and i am not bothered about what else happens
this will happen

My gut feeling, literally gut feeling, is not to declare a long-term war which I think would simplify the issue for the afghans, they go back and fight from caves

Right now they will have to be operationally and logistically hammered and therefore they want a temporary ceasefire, as well as this they do have some state duties as a government

Conditions have to be globally communicated on basic expectations and some concessions to Pakistan that they are acting in good faith

Trust and verify

They then have to decide that however long it takes them to get back on their feet to plan attacks on Pakistan whether it is worth it to then go again and rebuild after a few months, and indeed that regional cooperation is obviously something they have to concede to

What is important to communicate is that Pakistan is literally asking for sensible win-win situations and this is how it has to be seen by the world, that Afghanistan is rejecting this.

If the Americans just wanted to remove the Taliban it would not take 20 years, they attempted to build Western institutions and undertook a nation building exercise

American had removed the Mullah Umer Taliban regime in just a few weeks after 9/11. The rest of the American stay in Afghanistan, especially after Bin Laden was killed, was about money laundering for the great Military Industrial Complex.
And per Biden, up to $2 trillions went into Afghanistan with hardly anything for the Afghans themselves. On other the other hand, the Soviets had a stake in making Afghanistan into another 'Stan' and were literally in working with shovels and books to raise the Afghanistani society. Americans, in contrast, only some token achievements to show for the $2 trillion because it was a money laundry scheme after the early goals.
