Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Not a surprise to anyone, why do you think China rushed huge cache of weapons to Iran? On PDF we asserted not if but when the attack on Iran was going to happen and as usual our analysis was correct.
Even better.

Half of us knew Thursday was the last chance at peace. Once no announcement, we all knew this was going to happen.

Iran has better intelligence gathering data than us, and they should know this was to happen.

If they fail to even strike back, Iran had brought this upon itself. They need to launch a counter punch. It's now or never!

Where were the talk of the so-called pedophilia videos in his first term?? And why did he concede so much to Israel during this first term, breaking 5 decades of American policies?
No, he is a through and through a Zionist, even more than Joe Biden was. I had seen him for what he was during his first term and I am seldom wrong! My posts are there in the Israel-Gaza thread for all to see since Oct. 2023: I knew who Trump really was when it came to the Middle East.
They had him do the other dirty stuff first to prepare the ground for later:
During Donald Trump's first term (2017–2021), the U.S. conducted military strikes in several countries, primarily as part of counterterrorism operations. The most significant strikes occurred in:

  • Yemen: The U.S. launched 126 strikes against militant groups, mainly Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), marking a major increase from previous years. After designating parts of Yemen as “active hostilities” zones, the Trump administration bypassed stricter Obama-era oversight, leading to a surge in operations.
  • Somalia: The U.S. carried out 35 strikes against the militant group al-Shabaab. This was a dramatic increase compared to the single strike under Obama’s first year, reflecting an expanded campaign under Trump.
  • Afghanistan: Although not a new war, U.S. military actions intensified, with a near return to surge-level bomb tonnage. In April 2017, Trump authorized the use of the GBU-43/B MOAB ("Mother of All Bombs") against ISIS-Khorasan tunnels, the first combat use of the weapon.
  • Syria: The U.S. conducted multiple strikes, including a notable April 2017 missile attack on a Syrian airbase in response to a chemical weapons attack by the Assad regime. Ongoing operations targeted ISIS strongholds.
  • Iraq: U.S. forces continued operations against ISIS, including airstrikes in coordination with local forces, especially during the campaign to retake Mosul.
  • Pakistan: At least five strikes were conducted in Pakistan’s tribal regions, primarily via drone, continuing the counterterrorism campaign against militant hideouts along the Afghan border.

They're not going to do shit, man, except hit empty bases. This will happen after two weeks of deliberation in Tehran.

Now, we just need a statement from the Tatta Chuk Nobel Peace Prize crew back in Islamabad.

NOBLE PEACE PRIZE, SIR! NOBLE PEACE PRIZE
Definitely someone from Rawalpindi will get Nobel prize after attacking Afghanistan

Decapitation strikes first in broad daylight very bold. We'll likely not know for days if it succeeded. Now they'll go after Iran's offensive capability.

The stupidest thing he could have said here - now you've lost on the fence Republicans. There was no reason to start a war (no provocation nor imminent threats) - any U.S casualties would be taken very severely against Trump.

Read @Meengla's post above, President Trump doesn't care for the midterms at this point or the party. The reason being that he will be gone; the party will carry on Trump's message, as it's been remolded into Trump's image and policies.

Rather, I would say that, in the end, Trump came out successful.

If NK can build a nuke whilst under sanctions so could Iran. Iranian leaders chose not to build nukes they chose to be frens with Muslim hater Modi and treacherous russians
I am talking about the present. If we go to the past, then absolutely, not building nukes were stupid. But trying to unite muslims against the west were even more stupid. Especially when majority of the muslim countries are in cahoots with Israel and most of muslim world doesn't view Shias as muslims.

I think most people should be reminded that during Israel's attack in June, Iran's air defenses were virtually non existent.

It was unlikely for them to have fixed & ready any air defenses for today's attack, yet alone against the U.S.

Their power is in their offense (missiles, etc), and we shall see if these last months will prove so.

No they didn't knew or Iranians were too scared to do something about it.

If Iranians really knew about imminent attack, then they are big fools not to attack first. Just imagine scores of missile launchers destroyed by US right now even before those could be put to use.

The first wave of US / Israeli attack will ensure to neutralize most of Iranian missile launching capabilities.
