But with a surrender to Trump, it's hard to see what incentive Iran will have to get militarily stronger. It's sole enemy will be its master.

Iran doesn’t need to get stronger immediately.

It first needs to rebuild its economy and reintegrate with the world. That alone will take 15+ years at the minimum. Its immediate neighbors are weaker than it (Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, and Iraq) and it’s a massive land mass that no one besides the U.S. or China could invade via the ground.

So its priority should be to become a strong economy and start focusing on the technologies of the 22nd century like AI and robotics.

Building missiles or bombs can be done in less than 5 years. Iran first needs to rebuild its nation and that means going back to a neutral state for next couple decades at least.

It tried being a regional power the past 25 years and its economy was such shit that it couldn’t prop itself up, let alone its allies and ultimately imploded under an advanced containment strategy by the worlds superpower.

You can never be a serious independent military power unless you have strong economy that is self reliant. Iran has to go back to the basics.

They have put a lot of effort in some areas but no effort in others like not taking precautions waiting in apartments and wait getting hit very easily.
It is part of the effort as well. Maybe falsely thinking they are good muslim guys so everything will be magically good for them problems solved by themselves from air after they put some effort on their side. Not giving effort thinking all possibilities etc.

But as I mentioned the solutions come from through us with our effort. Prayers are also included in this effort. At least that is what I understand from what I read and observed till now.

Israel made clear statements that they want regime change in Iran, but somehow people still believe maybe Israel will back off if Iran signs deal. The regime is now finished. Trump also made it clear a nuclear iran will not be acceptable, Usa Israel attacked because they know Iran does not have the bomb and they destroyed the facilities. The only option left is for the IRGC to surrender, allow the Shah or someone else to overtake, they will dismantle the islamist government and IRGC, Iran will be like Iraq. If they continue to resist then it may lead to civil war, rebellions and much more killings. I also thought iran had the bomb but looks like it was all western propaganda like WMD one.

Shah taking over is highly unlikely. He will be a target for assassination the moment he stepped foot back. IRGC still has the capability to lead despite all of this.

Iran army, the revolution guard can inflict damages to Israel, but that’s too little to have any effect on the outcome. Israel has the backing from the US, Europe, Arabs and more. What backing Iran has?

Looking at many of your posts in this thread, I hope by now you are a little calmed down and believe in real geopolitics and laws of physics.

I did suggested a preemptive strike, but Khamenei seems to prefer negotiations and stalling tactics rather than seizing the initiative to take out as many enemy forces down as possible.

Now everything seems too late unless if they have hidden nukes or some secret weapon "trump cards" that can turn things around and actually degrade the enemy's military capabilities.
