Of course the Americans care, they will get the contracts to rebuild the destroyed infrastructure and will charge X10 the going rate. They won't defeat Iran completely they need a bogey man to scare the Arabs into buying more weapons at X10 the going rate.

Foreign forces stationed at the missions don't open fire at the local public unless they have the highest clearances to save their arses later. This operation should've been done by Pakistan itself. I hope the news is wrong that marines killed the Pakistanis.

No, why would the state condemn it? These idiots attacked an embassy—which we have a duty to protect. How many Iranians attacked the Indian embassy when we were attacked by India? Pathetic people. They always put others' interests ahead of their own.

Police handles the situation, protestors did not enter the building itself, they were outside in the compound.
