Poor China too - China has a lot to lose financially too with the disruption to shipping lanes, oil and gas. That being said, they have much larger strategic reserves compared to China.

Moreso Russia, Patriot missiles are in dire need in Europe if Russia attacks.

China should use this as an opportunity for China and begin a massive rearmament. Build more nukes too.

#2 is the most likely outcome. They will survive, battered and bruised, having inflicted some damage and this issue will limp along.

#2 is likely only if Iran can inflict enough damage to achieve a stalemate. It is still too early to tell whether they can achieve that in an effective way.

My point was do you believe Iran is facing more adversaries than expected? So far it seems they have intended to fight this war as they expect, I do not make a judgment on future outcomes.

As I keep saying, it is still too early to tell whether Iran will succeed in its efforts, or achieve a settlement, or capitulate.
