Pakistan relies on its airforce as its primary offensive force in any war and s400 is very scary if deployed correctly. It must be taken very seriously. However I don’t get this fearmongering over silly indian plans like rafale or s400 procurement attempts when reality is these systems could easily take upto a decade to arrive.

Sir you are right but you also need to understand s400 is still a potent platform. if indians get right way of using it then its end game for airforce.

Apparently Pakistan closed its airspace from today till March 31st. Quite interesting timing but could be due to the increased surge of airspace usage by planes avoiding middle eastern routes and the strain it’s putting on Pakistani ATCs.

10 is a big number and thats for just 1 system they are also going to deploy plethora of other system.

all these batteries, even if eventually acquired, would deplete their missiles chasing a few hypersonic vectors. Missile based air defense would eventually be surpassed. That is why I maintain we should also not over invest in this soon to be obsolete technology....
