Soon? It only made its maiden flight in late 2024, so it is not even in 2 years flight test ... IMO it will take some more time.

China's special operations aircraft are currently undergoing some subtle changes. The functions and roles of traditional AWACS/AEW&C are being replaced or integrated with some other special operations aircraft.

What type of aircraft do you consider the WZ-9 Divine Eagle UAV to be?

Similar to American C-5M, it is expected to feature a nose visor for rapid loading and unloading. Y-40 is thought to be powered by four 25t class high bypass turbofan engines (WS-35?). First flight is expected by 2027.
