Karma for causing a famine in Yemen? One of the worst humanitarian disasters of this century.

Wasting precious missiles. Should focus on Israel only
SRBMs are being used to hit Gulf targets but MRBMs to hit Zionist entity.

Totally separate weapons systems for the two different targets. SRBMs do not have range from Iran to hit Zionist entity.

Only drones can be used for both sets of targets but firing them even in hundreds against Zionist entity has low chance of success due to distance and both Arab/US/European defences before they enter Occupied Palestine.

Around 1000 vessels, half of which are oil and gas tankers, are currently in the gulf and its surrounding waters, with an estimated hull value of more than $25bn,

How long can the oil be held before it gets bad or unusable ?

Not yet - we don't know what is going on - no update from Saudi FM.
We need to actively debunk Israel’s attempts to fuel a war between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Our establishment should now seriously focus all resources on this.

I think Iran has pre-empted this action but I don't see what benefit this has brought to Iran so far.

The missiles Iran should be reserving for US warships have been fired on empty US bases over five days. They could've fired all of these on Zion, and limited Zion's capability to attack Iran, but they've been wasted in a knee jerk reaction.

Iran will drag all of her neighbours into the war.

500 shaheds and some srbm and cruise missiles are enough to handle this situation. Shortage of oil is one thing, shortage of tankers is another thing. Iran will destroy all the tankers if needed.

but perishable and water can also be imported

oil prices can go out of hand in a very quick time, which will make imports of such items very costly as well, rather quickly!
