As far as I know china is not sanctioned overall except from few technologies and for their industrial base and huge export they may not come openly in help to avoid complete sanction. but what excuse russia have? they are already sanctioned to the core. If i have said something factually incorrect here.. i would love to be corrected from those who has a real knowledge of this sanctions

Punitive sanctions were attempted on China but they would hurt America too--and badly.
The war against Iran may be mostly for Netanyahu but also another way for America to go after China--using oil as a weapon. NY Times had a major article on that just 2-3 days ago.
As for Russia, I don't know except they are too tied down in Ukraine; there may be more reasons for Russia but I would only speculate

Iran still has the small boat swarms that it has armed and practiced with to attack larger ships. May be it is time to utilize them?
I think coastal anti-ship batteries are more than enough, though. And drones.

There's the Abu Mahdi anti-ship cruise missile with 1000 km range, so that doesn't even have to be near the coasts, as they can be placed anywhere within the interior of Iran in "shoot-and-scoot" launchers.

Then there's the Hadid-110 stealth attack drones.

I find the Iranian claim that Azerbaijan strike wasn't them hard to believe, the drone in the footages exactly ressembles an Arash-2 drone

Somehow Israel/US managed to make a perfect copy of it to pass as a genuine Arash?
They confiscated weapons from Syria and on its way to Yemen many times.

I am amazed people still think in terms of good and evil and friends and enemies.
I think majority of people think this way. Everyone uses their ideology to determine what they say is good and evil and allot friends and foe accordingly.

Trumpy has many religious nut jobs in his admin using religion to define their good and evil. One could argue this also influences geopolitics.

Israel/USA could have recovered them and reprogrammed them to send into Azerbaijan ?

I am amazed people still think in terms of good and evil and friends and enemies. There are NO such concepts in international geopolitics.

USA is doing exactly what Iran and Pakistan are doing: pursuing their own national interests, as best as possible. That is all.

Iran has pursued its own national interests, and it has come to this point that is is under direct attack, without a lot of support from any other country. Geopolitically, that is an abysmal failure, no matter what divine or regious or moral cover one may wish to give it. Now, it must bear the consequences and try to mitigate the situation as best as possible.

All is not lost at this point, however, and compromises are always better for outcomes, for all sides.

(Similarly, Pakistan will be okay if it plays its cards better than what Iran has done. But that discussion belongs in some other thread, not here.)

Fine sir, whatever floats your boat, I’m hardly the expert here.

BTW, "America First', clearly too hidden to be visible to our eastern neighbour!

but you know better, so, I wont argue

go on beat up, 'good' and 'evil' argument, as if it was the main premise!
