Iran needs to understand that India is and has been buddy of Israel since very long ( in arab isreal war Indians were there on Israeli soil to fight against Arabs like Pakistani soldiers were there on arab soil to fight Israel) and a friend of Israel can't be their friend at same time.
They need to understand Pakistan is more sincere to them for their future than Indians..
India only need Iran to use as proxy against Pakistan and unfortunately, they have been used as proxy by india , Rawa has established network in Iran and as used Irani soil against Pakistan ...
Even after all this current saga Iran consider India as their friend then we can't help them for their doom.. Can't they as their best buddy India to ask its best buddy Israel to avoid attack ...

But, Iran is unlikely to become enemy of Pakistan just for the sake of friendship with India. Iran might cosy up to India but it won't be foolish to form an alliance with India against Pakistan. Iran doesn't want Pakistan to be enemy unless the two countries end up that way somehow then Iran will form an alliance with India.

I think before the china truce between Saudi and Iran. Iran saw Pakistan as Saudi ally so generally teamed up with India as convenience against Pakistan.

"a friend of Israel can't be their friend at same time" - that formula won't work with post war Iran that may be friendly with Israel. See what happened in Syria after fall of Assad. Other interesting things may happen too: If Saudi Arabia becomes at least "not enemy", if not friend of Israel, Pakistan may follow suit.

In june war here in forum members like me were repeatedly saying india is helping israel inside iran.

Members replied there is no proof.

I am truly surprised that india did not even condemn the invasion of its strategic ally iran.. they purposely chose not to condemn unlike joint statement with the rest of the shanghai cooperation org.

India has been a close ally of Israel for quite a while now and has a strategic partnership with the US. They had stopped buying Iranian oil because of US sanctions a few years back and even exited Chabahar port recently. Neither uses each other's defence equipment. India also backed out of IPI a long time back.

India and Iran have had a mutually beneficial relationship, but they have never been strategic allies. The closest thing to a strategic allies that Iran has are China , Russia and North Korea, who are the main defence suppliers.

There is merit in the article. There are several videos coming out of Iran that show predator drones circling above in the skies. Since the AD right now seems non existent, these underground bases are going to be of little use. Americans have the ordinance to penetrate deep underground and destroy such facilities. Again, the main problem is the AD. Even MANPADs would've probably helped in some cases to take out drones. I'm not even going into ISR from satellites. I'm sure the pentagon already has plenty of info on these underground bases.

Looking at the rate at which the missile and drone strikes are reducing, I'm inclined to believe that the end is just a few weeks away.

Strategic ally has nothing to do with selling weapons as India can not produce any decent weapons that countries want anyway.

Iran is certainly not a strategic ally of China and is just another friendly trade partner like 150+ other countries. Strategic ally of China is pakistan, Russia and nk.
